Stands up to daily professional use
I originally purchased this kit on Amazon in Dec. 2014 for use in my new position as a Computer Hardware technician repairing laptops and desktops on a daily basis. For the price, I wasn't expecting too much out of this kit and would have been happy if it had held up for 6 months. I've been incredibly surprised, however, at how well this kit has held up over time. I have dropped the (closed) cased many times and the only physical damage to show for it is a crack in the corner of the screw holder. All of the tools included have held up exceptionally well to what I would call fairly demanding use, with the possible exception of the tweezers which are low quality and probably my least used tool next to the IC chip tongs that I have never used...To get the most out of the kit I started adding tools on day one, and now 1 1/2 years later I've added practically another tool kit inside of this case and can still get it closed and well organized. I also used a magnetizing block from Home Depot to magnetize the #0 Philips driver with the pocket clip. I highly recommend magnetizing at least a few of these tools, if you plan to work on laptops or in small cases. I've attached pictures so that you can see how much stuff I cram in this case day to day, I'll list out the extra items below:Spudger tools for opening laptop/mobile device casesThermal Compound for replacing heatsinksBox Cutter knifeInk PenSize 00 Phillips with small spudger on reverseReversible Size 00 philips/flat driverTorx #6 driver3 USB flash drives with various troubleshooting tools, programs, windows install ISOs, etc...Alcohol wipes for cleaning old thermal compoundSlimmed down pad of post it notesMini Needle nose pliers (I use these in place of the tweezers for almost everything)All in all, this case has held up to everything I have thrown at it in the last year and I would be totally comfortable buying it again.
