Not gonna lie... I was very apprehensive based on the neagtive reviews. I didn't even want to like it the first day. I was trying to find reasons to send it back. However, I am definitely satisfied with my purchase. I'd go as far as to say thrilled even.
I can completely understand the individuals having trouble with charging the watch. The cable and setup is janky as hell and, the charger's positioning makes me think they designed the entire device before realizing they forgot to add a way to charge it. It had to have been an after thought at best.
The watch itself though, is genuinely dope. It's got a great look and feel. Plus, once you get it updated to the most recent version of Android Wear... it's fucntional as all get out. I mean the altimeter works extremely well. I went hiking and tried it out and to my surprise, it matched what I read about the trail on Google. The water "proofing" makes it so I don't worry about getting the thing wet or getting rained on. Sort of a piece of mind.
It's a true extension of your smart device. Google Maps, a calculator, hell, the thing has a little keyboard for text message replies.
Besides the fact I got like 30% off with some random coupon Amazon had, I'd still be happy with this purchase at full price. Granted I haven't had it long but, it's better than my first gen Motorola 360.

I love this watch although I was hesitant to purchase due ...
*update* I've owned this watch for nearly 7 months now and the original charger has stopped working. I knew this was a possibility when I purchased the watch and therefore purchased the aftermarket charger at the same time. It works fine and I am still satisfied with the watch. I've added pics now to show the wear and tear I've put on the watch in the nearly 7 months of non-stop wear. I am not easy on this watch and I do not treat it like an expensive object. It does scratch and wear and if I had to repurchase the product again I'd probably by it in a darker color as it wouldn't show the scratches as much. As for the screen I added the screen protector the day it arrived and I've not needed to change it since and have no scratches on the actual screen itself. Not sure why they put 6 or 8 in a box. I also worry about the people who say they have purchased this watch and not wore it in over a year and complain about the battery life. If you spend 500 bucks on something and you don't wear it then you must have the money to buy another one if this one stops working. Casio made a good product and is right in line with their F-16shock line..good buy!

I love this watch although I was hesitant to purchase due to a couple of these product reviews. I've wore the watch every day to work and to my crossfit gym with no issues. I also wear it in the shower and have jumped into a lake swimming with it on, it handled it with no problems. I am still using the original charger for the watch. I just plug it in nightly as I do my phone, no big deal. I rarely use all the options on this watch and have turned off the wrist activation gestures because they simply are not needed because of the risk led watch face. Love the watch, I use it as a watch with the ability to do other things on it in a pinch if needed. This is not my soul source of contact with the world and worry about people who think it is.
