Product Description

There are three things that drive us batty about dish duty: not having enough space, swampy messes and stacking things haphazardly (hey, we’re sticklers for organization). Thankfully, this customizable dish rack/ glass tray folds in half and helps keep counters clean.

It’s a winner!
I’ve had a change of heart! I initially gave it 3 stars!!! 🙈Pros:Large enough to hold what any big dish drainer would.I have 2 pots, a frying pan, and a ton of other things on it (see pic).It actually does drain well. I initially thought because there was no sideways angulation, that the drainage would be stagnant but it’s pretty well designed.Sturdy but not bulky.Cons:3 pieces is way too many. But they do work well together. If your purpose for buying this is because you’re short on counter space, this is too big for you.It could be more visually appealing. The white part looks like an animals ribcage!I bought 2 on the same day to compare and this one initially lost. The second is just slightly smaller, one piece, and has an obvious angle for drainage. But when I tested both, this is clearly more functional, as the same amount of dishes on the other one needed additional space from my old drying mat!

We had an old standard rubbermaid dish drainer prior and after ten years it was rusted and needed replacing. I took a chance on this dish drainer and it has worked great for our needs. That said it may not work for everyone so I'll try to elaborate. We have a dishwasher which we use for everything but the pots and pans so I don't use the dish drainer for everyday stuff as someone may who washes by hand, not that it wouldn't. While I do use the dishwasher, I do not use the dry cycle and we have a LOT of plastic ware that gets used daily from yogart cups to reusable drink bottles. They do not dry in the dish washer well so I need a rack to dry them all on. This rack works great for me because of the number of tines to holds the cups and bottles on! The tines are removable and fold down so you can customize to fit your needs. Where it will work and where I see it not working:
The good:
It will hold plastic ware, dishes such are Correlle that are light weight, pots/pans & heavy items with tines removed or folded down (as noted on box tines are not intended to hold heavy items).
It is a good size unfolded and holds plenty, it folds up easy to free up counter space, a big plus for small kitchens!
The whole thing can be put in the dishwasher for cleaning
The flexibility of adding/removing tines easily to accommodate daily needs.
It's made with environmentally friendly materials
The questionable:
If you have heavy stoneware dishes it may not work, I don't so I can't say for sure but I don't think the tines would hold them well.
The silverware/utensil cup is pretty light and most top heavy utensils I usually lay flay on the rack to dry, it is possible to tip it over.

Overall I would highly recommend this dish drainer.

We were looking to replace a drying rack we got as a house warming gift that neither of us liked. Did a fair amount of research and picked this one. Our original rack had major rust and mold issues in the tray below the rack. It was very difficult to clean.

I wash dishes daily despite having a dishwasher. We have cats and a limited number of cat food plates (for wet food) so we are constantly washing a relatively small amount of dishes by hand. Additionally my sister eats a ton of yogurt, so we are constantly washing yogurt cups and other recyclables that don't go in the dishwasher. I will occasionally fold up the rack for counter space but we leave it expanded most of the time. I appreciate that I *can* fold it up and get it out of the way. I have washed it in the dishwasher a couple times.

We have had it since February 2019 and it has held up well. It felt slightly less sturdy than I was expecting but it's been great even dealing with larger and heavier dishes. I have even placed 9 1/2" glass pie pans on it and it held up. I would generally not recommend very large or very heavy items as the tines are not super sturdy. They will bend if you put something particularly heavy against them.

We have a unique set up with a large lip on a farm style sink which make draining the drying racks difficult. We've propped this up on some large lids to make it level with the sink and for the most part, the water dries. Definitely better than the last one we had. I use a towel under it to catch any water that drips off but even that has been drying reasonably.

Pros:
~Eco friendly
~Dishwasher safe
~Folds up to make counter space
~Has held up well
~Haven't had difficulty with mold from stagnant water
~Simple design that is effective

Cons:
~Hard to clean where the silverware cup fits into the base
~Not great for use with extremely large/heavy items
~No particular place to put the silverware cup when folded up (but we just drape it over the folded rack)
~Seller left a price tag on the box that was less than we paid for it (tacky on the seller's part)

Overall we are happy with our purchase. I would recommend to other buyers.

It’s been a year since I started using this product in my kitchen. We have a toddler who generates a lot of dirty dishes and we also like to hand wash delicate items, which means this drying rack is always in use! Based on the past year, here are some pros and cons I’ve found:

Pros
- It is very sturdy, i.e., hard to break and well balanced. We’ve loaded up this drying rack with pots, pans, heavy glass, etc. but it’s still going strong without so much as a dent!

- Holds a lot of stuff. Its open design let’s you stack a lot of things, which is always a nice option to have.

- If you only use a drying rack occasionally and prefer to put it away when it’s not in use, the folding feature of this rack might come in really handy. Unfortunately for us, we never get to take advantage of it because we’re always using this!

Cons
- Doesn’t drain very well. The bottom is slanted towards the center where there is a slit that lets water drain to the pan on the bottom. However, I find that the angle isn’t deep enough and water tends to sit around the slit instead of completely draining. In the humid NE summer months, this means a lot of pink slime buildup that needs to be scrubbed off regularly. Which brings me to my next point...

- It’s not the easiest thing to clean. There are many parts that have to come off for a thorough clean, lots of nooks and crannies and corners, etc. I was actually cleaning this just a while ago and that is when I got this urge to come review this product on Amazon (after a year!).

Overall, I think it would prefer a regular drying rack (the wiry kind) just for the ease and less frequent need of cleaning.

This was a perfect dish rack for using on our boat. The foldable design allows it to be stored away in almost any cupboard. The design of the tray allows you to have out a small portion for just a few cups or the full tray for bigger loads. Very happy with this purchase

This dish rack is amazing! So many options for customizing it depending on which dishes need to be dried. It folds up very compact to save valuable under sink space, too.
