Genre fans who know—and love—Drake’s phenomenal, New York Times bestselling Dark Days novels will be blown away by this dark and seductive new series. Meet Gage, a magical tattoo artist trying to remain hidden and alive in a world where elves, faeries, trolls, werewolves, and vampires mingle freely with humans, and warlocks and witches rule the roost with merciless cruelty. Angel’s Ink indelibly marks the beginning of something phenomenal and every reader whose tastes run to the supernatural—those who can’t wait to sink their teeth into the latest Patricia Briggs, Carrie Vaughn, Kelley Armstrong, or Jim Butcher—will want to fly with this Angel.
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Drake (the Dark Days vampire series) very ably spins a series launch about a tattoo artist with big secrets. This alternate universe contains evil warlocks and witches, tradition-bound elves, an ancient purveyor of equally ancient treasures both real and mystical, and plot twists designed to enchant. Gage fled the cruel Ivory Towers and life as a warlock to run his Asylum Tattoo Parlor, assisted by troll Bronx and elf Trixie. Those wanting some ink with a little magic sprinkled in come to Gage. The sadistic warlocks have forbidden Gage to use his magic on pain of death, so he keeps a low profile, but when he mixes a breathtakingly rare ingredient into a tattoo for a dying woman, he stirs up trouble that sends the plot caroming with ferocious intensity to a satisfying but open-ended conclusion.

Very engaging
Great premise with ink and magic. And of course what is a witch story w/o a cat. Go Sophie.
Best book I've read in a long while!!!!!
This is by far the best book I've read, it even trumps the Twilight series, a few years ago NOBODY could do any better than that. I've been searching for a few years in finding a sci-fy, fantasy genre that was actually interesting beyond the first chapter. This by far exceeds that, the whole book I was hooked, I couldn't go to sleep I was up late reading the next chapter in hopes to find out what happens next. Thanks for a great read! :)
Wow
Unique concept, interesting characters, and a story that'll have you begging for more!
