Authentic. Fast-paced. Taut. Engrossing.
With just a soupçon of humor to top it off.
To much repeat
I was looking forward to reading all the books in the series after completing the first book. At least 1/3 of each additional book is the introduction of existing main characters. Too much to pay full price for each additional book with so little new material. In a series the new book should pick up where the last one left off with a small recap, potentially. This author is reusing too much of what he’s already previously written, and trying to pass it off as a new storyline.
