this was my first purchase from the uk and I was very satisfied. the game played without any hitches ( which I cant say that about all games ) it kept my interest and I could not wait to get back to it. I hope to see more from this company. d

I'm not a big fan of HOG/adventure games that lead the player step by step. This is one of those games. The graphics are very well done, so it's discouraging to approach a promising pile of rubble, only to be told not to bother. The puzzles themselves are borderline insultingly easy, with the exception of the very well done HOG scenes.

A lot in this game just plain doesn't work, like the Hints button. I mean the button works, but the hints are worthless. The Strategy Guide in the CE version isn't much of a guide, either. I got stuck at the end of the first chapter when apparently one of the tools in inventory was supposed to be used to get rid of the Lightning Man. It didn't.

Deleted. Two stars, one each for graphics and story.

The graphics are beautiful. The story is foggy and unengaging. I agree with a previous reviewer that the hint button is almost useless..
When you click on it, it shows you a picture as to how the scene SHOULD look, but then it gives no clues as to how to find what it is you need. I find the game overly complex and leaving you in dead ends all the time and I usually enjoy HOG. I am only about a third of the way through and I keep leaving due to frustration. Even the walkthrough is tedious.
I enjoyed The Agency of Anomalies: Cinderstone Orphanage,,,but this one is a dud in my opinion

Brilliant! The story line is full of twists and turns and has ALOT of hidden objects. Its a great game. I've played it several times now and it gets better each time I play. A+++

Good game with quite a few twists and turns but it is really gruesome, verging on sick at times. This is not the sort of game to cheer you up and could be quite disturbing for some people.

4.0 out of 5 stars good creepy game

For the setting of a hospital carrying out experiments on soldiers in 1914 I would suggest this game should have a higher rating. It was rather disturbing becuase although these were paranormal experiments, we know the horrors of what has happened in real life. Although the soldiers were given 'western' names and the narative was given in american english, the pictures of the soldiers did suggest men of eastern european origin.
Saying that I found the game just enough of a challenge to keep me interested, with a good ballance of HOG and mini-games. The bonus game, although containing rather a lot of HOG games, was also of good length.
