As a millennial therapist that has been single for quite a long time, I can say I loved this bk both personally and professionally. I have heard all the dating podcasts, read the books, listened to videos, & done a helluva lot of self work. And STILL - there was much to glean from this. I find it has truly been one of the few books written for the modern woman navigating a world where dating happens almost exclusively through apps now. I found the writing prompt examples helpful and so many great one-liners that truly resonated with me such as “don’t ever let anyone tell you they don’t want you twice.” Michelle has a way of reframing situations that make you feel empowered in navigating dating and offered me a lot of paradigm shifts as a result. This will be a book permanently on my shelf and one I’ll keep returning to & recommending to future therapy clients of mine that struggle with dating.
