Needed a portable grill for the RV that fit our tight space requirements and chose the Amazon Basics 2 burner. It had zero reviews when we purchased it, but fit the space and at a great price and I knew Amazon would make it right if there was an issue. We've used it now for several months on several trips and I highly recommend it.

The build quality is impressive, the stainless box is noticeably thicker than other units we looked at. With two burners and 16K BTU's it gets hot enough to grill anything that we want. The stainless grill is robust and you can get nice sear marks. The temp control is better than other grills I've owned, the heat is pretty even across the grate with minimum "hot spots", and the burners can be turned down and maintain a lower temp for a lower/slower cook, or turn off one for an even lower temp. The unit was easy to set up, and it is easy to clean up the grill and removable drip pan.

Be aware that it is a basic unit. There is no built-in thermometer, which is fine with us as they never work anyway. We use a $25 thermometer gun instead. There isn't a grill bag offered, we bought one that's sized for the 22" Blackstone for $50, it's a little big but close enough. It would be nice if the flame guards were attached so they would stay in place when storing, that's annoying but not a big deal. I did replace the built-in pressure regulator with a connection to our on-board propane, an easy modification that works well for our situation, I expect it works fine with the built-in regulator that comes with factory pressure regulator.

This grill has many pros and a couple of cons. I will list the pros first.
1. It isn't heavy but very portable and easy to set up. The clips on the ends lock the top in place and you can carry it much like a briefcase.
2. It is already set up for the bigger propane tank, not the tiny ones. This is a huge bonus for me. I don't like the short life span if the tiny cans.
3. It has two burners so you can adjust each side, so one side can be hotter than the other side. Some portable grills only have a single setting.
4. It is easy to light. Just turn the knobs. Some grills are delicate to get going. Not this one.
5. I like the stainless steel and it looks to be mostly that. The knobs are plastic but I don't see that as a con. It would have been better if they were stainless steel but it doesn't matter to me as long as they work.
6. The grease pan is easy to clean. The grill is easy to clean as well.
Now the cons
1. I wished the legs locked in place. They are spread out and stay put but any movement can cause them to collapse inward. Not good.
2. There isn't a low setting. It is high and medium but don't count on grilling anything on low. The lowest setting is still quite hot.
This is a great grill and the cost is very good. Despite the two cons for me, I still give it 5 stars. It is much better than most portable grills I have seen.

Flames shoot out from the sides of the heating elements

Funciona muy bien. Tiene muy buena temperatura para asar la carne. Nada más que el conector de gas no funciona con los cilindros de aquí de México, tuve que comprar otro adaptador Con regulador y manguera, otra cosa que yo le cambiaría sería la charolita para atrapar grasa está por abajo. Sería muy práctico que lo hubieran hecho toda completa del tamaño del asador por dentro y no por fuera, para que atrapara la grasa en cuanto cae debajo de los quemadores, por qué ahorita la grasa se escurre por todo el asador y luego cae a una pequeña charolita atrapa grasa y queda bien sucio el asador, y uno tiene que lavarlo por completo, en cambio si la charola atrapar grasa la hubieran hecho de tal manera que quedara por dentro completa. Toda la grasa caerían en ella y asi uno solo lavaria la parrilla y la charola atrapa grasa, poro con el precio tan asequible no podemos pedir tanto😀 De todo lo demas. Es un muy buen Asador de carne. La arrachera me sale Muy sabrosa y tambien el rib eye y todo lo demas. 😀👍🤝

Adapted this bbq to attach to the aft rail of my sailboat. I had a name brand marine bbq, it was expensive and worked OK. After 15 years it was time to replace it, so instead of a 6 or 700 dollar marine bbq I bought this for less than $200. Only used it once but pretty happy with its performance. It’s constructed of stainless so it should last for awhile, even in a salt water location.
