    Bought to replace an 8TB WD hard drive that bI have used for PC and NAS backups over about 7 or 8 years. This thing is fast, some figures below, PC#1 is an Intel NUC13, PC#2 is an HP laptop, PC#3 is an HP tower desktop. All are I7 based PCs. PC#1 and PC#2 have Thunderbird 4 ports, PC#3 has a USBC 3.x port. All backups were done using Macrium Reflect and were image backups.Previous WD HD backup, followed by the X10 ProPC#1 9 Minutes, X10 Pro 1:17 seconds hitting 5.8 GbpsPC#2 7Minutes X10 Pro 2:04 seconds hitting 6.8 Gbps (both with the laptop TB4 port and using a QGeem TB4 dockPC#3 24 Minutes X10 Pro 3:40 seconds hitting 3.4 GbpsI have not done a NAS backup yet but fully expect it to be very fast also. The NAS (ASUS 6204T) has only a USB3.x portThe only downside that I see on the X10 Pro is it is NOT cheap. I did read somewhere that there is an 8 TB version on the cards.Update 1/24/2024From testing backup from my 3 PCs, it made no difference whether the X10 Pro was formatted exfat or ntfs. BUT, on my NAS backup of everything with the drive formatted as exfat took 3:04. When formatted as ntfs, the backup took 1:31…much better!Hope this helps somebody……
