Top notch quality, not the fastest SSD by any means, but reliable and the Tech Support from Intel is First Class. I had to upgrade FW and could not do it with the online offered FW tool. They came up with another FW upgrade program within a week. Now runs perfect.
Intel SSD was easy to install, and works adequately for the price point. I was a little disappointed by the performance, but you don't buy Intel for speed, especially the 5 series.
The drive seems to report as 512 sector size rather than 4k. II'm not sure what is optimal for the cells. I ended up using it in a server running MidnightBSD with a UFS2 file system with trim enabled. No problems so far.
I had problems with one drive that was DOA and theses sent a shipping label and refunded my purchase price promptly. I purchased a replacement drive and it works great. My notebook's performance is amazingly fast with the new drive.
