Mi è costata un rene, ma oggi, se si vuole giocare su pc in 4k sopra i 40fps e senza rinunciare ai dettagli, non credo si possa spendere di meno. L'ho montata su una ROG STRIX X570-F GAMING con RYZEN 3700X. Ho scelto questo modello in particolare per via del dissipatore, il quale, allontana l'aria pesantemente riscaldata direttamente fuori dal case, mantenendo così il resto del sistema relativamente più fresco, a beneficio delle prestazioni e della durata generale del pc. Sembra poco ma non lo è, in particolar modo per le nuove x570, le quali hanno la presa d' aria del chipset , direttamente sotto la scheda video, che quasi ci si appoggia sopra.
Ho letto di molte rotture della ventola, forse per difetti costruttivi, ma se per me è ancora presto per dirlo, ancora nessun problema. Sempre in riferimento ad AC Odyssey, la curva predefinita della ventola, la stabilizza tra i 70-75 C° facendola girare tra il 47-50%. Io ho preferito anticiparla, mandandola al 50% a 65C°, non facendogli così superare mai i 68C° di punta. Per le prestazioni, beh, guardate la foto, ho scelto AC Odyssey, proprio perché è uno dei giochi più assetati di prestazioni, ovviamente tra quelli in mio possesso.

Il monitor è un Asus VP28UQG 60Hz con tecnologia Adaptive-Sync/free-Sync.
Il G-SYNC di NVIDIA me lo indica come non compatibile, ma una volta attivato lavora con molta più precisione di quanto facesse il mio vecchio sistema con AMD RX580 ARMOR 8G OC.
Ma una volta smesso di giocare va disattivato perché in utilizzo non in gioco, crea diversi piccoli problemi.

Descrizione è foto, sono relative ad un impostazione senza OC, sia per la scheda video che per il resto del sistema, con limitatore di frame impostato a 58fps da NVidiaProfileInspector.

Anche la mia ventola ha iniziato a dare problemi. In gioco, si spegne o blocca per meno di un secondo per poi andare al max dei giri e ritornare costante per qualche minuto. Dopo aver sentito anche Asus, sto facendo reso per prodotto diffettoso. Non appena avrò il rimborso, ne comprerò una identica come ultimo tentativo, ma, se si dovesse presentare anch'essa difettosa, cambierò sicuramente modello. Per ora solo meno una stella in attesa di sviluppi.

Amazon mi ha rimborsato con grande tempestività, ma tra i tempi di reso e rimborso , il prezzo di questa 2080 ti è salito fino a superare la ROG STRIX ADVANCED e OC.
Ho optato quindi per la ADVACED, e non tolgo ulteriori stelle, perché, chi ha necessita di questo modello per il dissipatore blower, e un po' di pazienza, può tranquillamente rischiare l'acquisto nonostante le possibili rotture della ventola, sicuro in un tempestivo e completo rimborso di Amazon.
