I have 2 young children so I ordered 2 of these. My 2.5 year old does not have a hard time carrying it with the handle, and the pull out stand legs on the back are very sturdy and durable. She doesn't need any help to do this. Sometimes she throws it down in tantrums, but it is raised up from the actual screen so it doesn't hit the floor directly (I bought tempered glass regardless). It's like, smooth but sturdily durable.

I went through a lot of cases, and found this to be the best.
