1.0 out of 5 starsExpensive for a disposable camera, avoid it

Can't give it a zero, so 1 star it is. This was a Christmas present for our daughter in 2015 and she really like the color and everything else about it. It worked ok and the zink printing is really neat. She and her friends had a blast printing little selfies and pictures of themselves for projects, ornaments, and who knows what else. She almost made it through the initial 30 pack of paper in an almost 12 month period. So maybe around 24 prints later, ironically a few days before Christmas 2016, the camera died. It wouldn't charge or turn on, and couldn't be seen when plugged into any computer, nothing at all dead..... I contacted customer service via email and the person who responded was helpful, asked about things I had tried, and suggested I try some things. Although some of the suggested things were things I'd already told them I'd done, I tried them again to no avail. Swapping cables, plugs, or computers had any effect. The reset button did nothing and the suggested firmware update couldn't be attempted since no computer would see the camera. So still a dead camera. The consensus was that the non-replaceable battery had failed. The rep eventually asked me to provide a copy of the invoice for the camera which I did. I was then informed that there was nothing they could do for me since it was now over 12 months since the order date of the camera. Not the delivered date or the actual day it was received since it was a Christmas gift, but the day I placed the order on Amazon which was several days before it actually got delivered. So it seems that they're aware of the battery issues and aren't willing to stand behind the product.
So if you're looking for a really expensive whimsical and disposable camera that may not last for a year or 30 prints, then this is what you want. If you want something that isn't disposable and will last longer than the warranty, then I suggest you keep moving and look at other options.... I found this to be a rip off at almost $100...
