1.0 out of 5 starsA bit too pricy and way too uncomfortable

Doing this real fast so sorry if this feels rushed.
Let me get this straight with you guys.. The build quality is solid and they sound great. And the mic quality is pretty decent too. That isn't the problem, the problem is they do NOT fit well in the ear. They aren't like normal Samsung or Apple earbuds that just go on your ear and kinda have a little thing on the side that goes in your ear canal... These babies LITERALLY need to go INTO your earhole. It is just a stupid design really. They also have that metal ring on the back end of it that is there for extra grip. That stuff feels like a really intense file on your fingers and if it rubs up against your ear (which it will because of how you stick it in your ear) it is just incredibly unpleasant.
They are made of metal so they do have some weight to them. I can just be sitting here playing a game not moving and they just fall out for no damn reason. Since of how they are, to wear them like I said they need to go directly into your ear hole to make a "proper seal" So you are going in at an angle, not just straight in and onto your outer ear. All the way into your ear canal. That is not pleasant to have at all. After wearing them for even a little while my ears start getting really sore
I should also mention that for some reason if I use the same replacement ear cushion for both sides, the left just does not fit in as well as the right so it is a constant problem. Right ear is generally okay and I have no problem but it is my left ear that has an issue with these. I guess my left ear canal is smaller and despite using the smallest replacement piece they offer you it is still to no avail
I have only had these for less than 12 hours but I am already totally done with them.
I bought these as a replacement for some free earbuds I got with my Samsung Galaxy S6 edge phone I received a few years ago. I never really used them much except for with my phone but for the past few months I have strictly used them for my gaming PC instead of a headset. I just cannot take the pressure of headsets anymore and I demand the use of earbuds.. So because of that these were to be used for many long hours at my computer.
They are just not up to snuff. If you are going about using earbuds casually for a little bit here and there then there should be no problem, just minor irritation in your ears. But seriously why would you spend 70 bucks on earbuds you are only going to use them for a little bit. Something much cheaper for less than 10 would suffice more than enough.
I went all in on this purchase because I needed a replacement. This is not what I expected and I am seriously disappointed.
I ordered these a week ago with amazon prime and it took them a week to get here. My first package was delayed and then lost, I had Amazon send me a replacement and it arrived 1 week later exactly. I am just already so done with these earbuds and I strongly recommend to try them before you buy them because most likely you will find them to be nothing like you would hope or expect
I like razer products. I have the Razer orbweaver and I love it to pieces but this is just not a good product.
Pros:
Solid construction: the metal earbuds and flat cable feels strong and will hold up to a lot of my daily gaming routine
Sound quality: They sound great, when they are fitting in your ear properly. But of course that is a problem with how they fit to begin with
General design: Looks pretty fancy but at the end of the day they are going in my ears and I won't be looking at them afterwards.
Extra earbud covers (varying sizes)
Neat little carrying clamshell case + a Y splitter to go into mic and headphone ports on a computer
Cons:
Who designed these: Ears are not shaped like this and there is no way for them to fit in your ear comfortably for long periods of time
Metal grip ring: It literally feels like a file or sand paper on my fingers, Unpleasant to touch, let along be anywhere near my soft ears
Way too pricy for what they are: 70 bucks and this is not what I was expecting. Sorry Razer, maybe next time.
