I have at least 15-20 bluetooth items in my house that i had for years and none ever require GPS. when you attempt to setup and IF it pairs (it takes a few tries) you will have to stand within a few feet away when checking temp while cooking. ?????????? that defeats the whole purpose of bluetooth wireless connection. I have to go in front of my grill to see what the temp is. maybe the wifi version works better? don't know. I already invested too muche on these and wish i would have returned these devices before the return window expired. I HIGHLY recommend avoiding this product. DO NOT BUY.

follow up: DO NOT BUY. I installed the meater software to pair with bluetooth. then it says you need GPS to have the bluetooth to connect. nothing ends up connecting. i tried this multiple times. in addition at the end it says that i need to provide an email address for the cloud account for my device to work. all i want was the temperature of the item i'm cooking. i'm sure there are better out there. The Flintstones had better ideas. DO NOT BUY. STAY AWAY.

Il termometro per carne intelligente wireless a lungo raggio e devo dire che sono estremamente colpito dalle sue prestazioni. Utilizzando spesso il barbecue, avere un termometro per carne affidabile e preciso è decisamente di grande aiuto e il MEATER è sicuramente all'altezza.
Una delle caratteristiche principali di questo termometro è la sua capacità wireless a lungo raggio quindi posso monitorare la temperatura della mia carne fino a 20 metri di distanza. Questo è incredibilmente comodo, in quanto mi permette di socializzare con gli ospiti o di occuparmi di altre attività senza dover controllare costantemente la griglia o il forno.

Configurare il MEATER Plus è stato un gioco da ragazzi. Tutto quello che dovevo fare era inserire la sonda nella carne, scaricare l'app sul mio telefono e collegare il termometro tramite Bluetooth. L'app è estremamente intuitiva e fornisce aggiornamenti della temperatura in tempo reale, tempi di cottura stimati e persino notifiche quando viene raggiunta la temperatura desiderata. L'app offre anche una varietà di opzioni di cottura preimpostate per diversi tipi di carne, assicurandomi di ottenere ogni volta la cottura perfetta.
Il termometro è ben costruito e di qualità nei materiali. La sonda è realizzata in acciaio inossidabile e ha una punta affilata e appuntita per un facile inserimento nelle carni. La custodia di ricarica in legno è anch'essa elegante e leggera, trasferisce la carica al termometro tramite batteria di tipo AA (stilo).
La precisione è fondamentale quando si tratta di termometri per carne e il MEATER non delude.
