Haven't been able to use the grill yet because we have so many problems with assembly. First, a large part was received damage. We recognize that these things happened and got up early to call Charbroil on a week day (because their customer support hours are beneficial for east coasters, not west coasters). Customer support was very nice and shipped us the item, but of course it didn't arrive in time for the weekend for us to continue assembly. Today we began assembling again (almost from the beginning) and had another problem - the parts don't appear to be damaged and we've double and triple-checked our assembly and it all seems to be lining up. However, the doors are way out of alignment and don't connect with the magnets. Charbroil's website said they were open until 8pm eastern on Saturdays, but when I called, they were closed. I attempted to chat online, but he said he can't assist me - I guess he's there for sales or useage questions only. His best suggestion, call again on Monday. So once again, we have to get up early and call and will probably have to wait 2 MORE weeks for parts. Char-Broil, not everyone lives on the East Coast - west coaster's grill, too! If all goes well at this point, we will be 6 weeks out from order to use.Update 10/23/16: Still do not have a working grill. As we received each piece that Char-Broil sent us we assembled it, only to find it just isn’t fitting together right. When we called for assistance, they always said, “We’ll send you a new part.” We almost have enough to build another grill! All that said, we still don’t have a working grill. The side burner doesn’t light, and the pieces just don’t line up (grill lids scrape together, doors below are very uneven, etc.) I’m not even sure what to do at this point, besides calling Char-Broil back tomorrow and asking them to send a whole new grill. So disappointed. BTW, we have had 5 people look at our assembly work and no one can see that we have assembled it wrong. It is just not engineered right. We are hoping it is limited to this one part and that Char-Broil sends a whole new set as requested.Update 11/12/16: Charbroil continued to send us parts and refused to send us a whole new grill because “that’s not how our warranty works.” Some of the parts they sent fixed the problem, suggesting that we were right – this unit was a lemon from the factory. One of the problems – lids that scraped as they opened – became a nightmare issue. They refused to send the fireboxes preassembled or any instructions but they said their customer service could help. It took 2 ½ hours (!!) to DISASSEMBLE the fireboxes, including electrical. Then we were left on our own to assemble everything with no schematic.We finally called Amazon, who has kindly offered to take it all back for a full refund. The amount of time Charbroil employees spent with us and cost of parts way exceeded what it would have cost them to buy a new grill. We are devastated that after all this time we have no grill and Charbroil will not make right a defective product. Thank you to Amazon who was understanding of the situation and made things right.
