I am happy to be owned by my soon to be 22 year old Russian Blue cat. She has short hair, so brushing isn't as much a consideration as it would be for a longer haired cat, however she enjoys the massage provided by a good brush.
I also recently found a book about crafting with cat hair and thought it would be fun to make some keepsake craft items to treasure when her inevitable passing happens (I hope not anytime soon! ) . Needless to say, felting cat hair for such memorial projects requires obtaining the hair. Enter this brush.

The handle is substantial and shaped for a comfortable secure grip. The brush bristles themselves are a fine metal wire and do a great job at removing shedding fur before it can get all over our home, and my old lady cat loves the massage. The bristles are plenty long enough for the longest haired cat. The brush is easy to clean and the price is a bargain. Really, this is the only pet brush I'm likely to need.
