About this item

  • Challenger K1 One Person Kayak set is made from Intex "Super-Tough" vinyl which is a high molecular PVC that is unaffected by gasoline, oil and salt water.
  • It is highly resistant to damage from abrasion, impact and sunlight. It also permits more air pressure for rigidity, making it perfect for river and sea action.
  • The K1 comes with 84" aluminum oars and a high-output hand pump. The hard plastic skegs on the underside of the kayak (similar to the underside of a surfboard) provide directional control so you can be sure you'll get where you want to go.
  • The kayaks feature inflatable seats with backrests, inflatable I-beam floors, grab lines on both ends, and a cargo net for extra storage. The sets also includes a repair patch.

Overall I’m very happy with this Kayak. Easy to inflate, stable my only real complaint is lack of leg room. I’m 5’7 and 175 lbs and have long legs. Next summer I’m trying a paddle board.

Nice little kayak. Blew up easily & firmly. Paddled pretty straight due to decent keel. Not much vertical space to slide your feet into (feet ended up 'sideways') but leg length space seemed fine to me (I'm around 5' 8" size 8.5 shoes).

As expected, harder to fold up than to unfold but the 'carrier' bag is big enough that you can get it back into it easily (even with collapsed paddles & a life jacket but without the air pump). Also, as expected, hard to dry the inside whether filled, 1/2 filled, or void of air.

Eso sí, la bomba para inflarlo es bastante incómoda porque es muy bajita.

Denke ich werde es erneut bestellen, da ich vom Gesamteindruck und Material begeistert war und von einem einmaligen „Fehler“ ausgehe, deshalb 5 verdiente Sterne.
Was zu beachten ist, es ist eher für geringere Körpergrößen bis 1,75 m zu empfehlen, sonst wird es eng. Alle Teile sind simpel zusammen zubauen und auch alles dabei ( Luftpumpe, Paddel usw ) was man braucht.
