Love it. Well done and as good as I remember them - if not better. The DVD is in 4:3 original TV aspect ratio. I wish they could be remastered in 16:9 aspect ratio only if there is no cropping. I own a couple of the original DVDs which had 3 episodes strung into a movie compilation format, and I prefer this series. Bought 2 more copies for gifts to friends after I received my copy. Highly recommended. I only hope that the other seasons are released.
I have not watched but one episode. It seemed to be quite sensual, without a heavy plot. Characters were OK, good looking, but the storyline, of course, is a little thin. However, these were probably meant to stimulate erotic pleasures for couples. It worked.
This was just what I expected. I am still watching it, but it is romantically hot with all the different episodes. I just wish there were more out on DVD, since the movies before the series were all great and then came the episodes.
This DVD contains several episodes of Romance. These episodes are supposed to give some "Real World" stories of people who are looking for, or involved in romantic situations. The episodes do not involve real people or events, they are meant to show various characters involved in romantic situations. The stories do provide a bit of realism for those who are either looking for, or involved in, romantic situation.
Been waiting a long time for this series to finally make its legitimate DVD debut and it delivered by bringing back fond memories of when this series was first broadcast on cable TV.
The producers always seemed to find the perfect casting for their vignettes and the on-screen chemistry between the actors made their softcore action even more arousing than some hardcore scenes today. The series also captured future stars such as Joan Severance, Denise Crosby, etc. and other budding starlets when they were just breaking into the industry and willing to bare it all to get ahead.
The wife always loved this series because of somewhat plausible plots, focus on couples/relationships and implied rather than explicit sexuality.
I can't wait until they begin to release the other seasons ;-)
