I'm in my mid-30s and have always been afraid of pinching my eyelids so I didn't really want to use an eyelash curler. I finally decided to give it a try and looked on here for good options. I have zero experience buying eyelash curlers but this one had good reviews, was a decent price, and looked like a good option so I figured I would give it a try.This Brilliant Beauty eyelash curler currently comes in three color choices: 14k gold, platinum, and rose gold. I prefer rose gold so I opted to pay a little extra to get that color. This curler is made in China of steel and silicone rubber. The package contains the curler with a rubber pad already attached, two replacements pads, instructions, and a nice, black drawstring bag for storing everything. The handles don't have any rubber grips on them like the ones my sister has but so far, they seem fairly easy to hold and don't slip. The pads are supposed to last about 90 days each and you will want to clean them regularly with a damp tissue. When you use the curler, always use it before you apply mascara.I've had this curler for over three months now and it seems to work well for me. It's easy for me to hold and I made sure to read the instructions before using it. When I use it, I guide it toward the part of the lash closest to my eyelid and gently clamp down, hold it for a few seconds, and repeat a couple times before moving to the end of the lashes, using the same process. When I visited my sister, I looked at her eyelash curler. Hers seemed to be built nicer with rubber grips on the handles but otherwise it looked similar.I have had some success with curling my lashes, though not as much as I had hoped. I've tried several times to curl them and I can only seem to get a little bit of curl. My sister suggested trying heat so I usually set these next to my hot straightener and then curl my lashes (after making sure they aren't too hot to hurt my eyes). You could also use a hair dryer and the method using heat seems to work a bit better.Overall, I like this eyelash curler even though I haven't had as much success with it as I had hoped. It has added some lift to my eyelashes and made my eyes pop a bit more which I really like! I can't compare this to other eyelash curlers since I haven't used others before but this one seems to work okay. I'm going to keep working on perfecting my eyelash curling, hoping my skill improves while using this curler!

I don’t have very long lashes to begin with and the ones that do have seem to grow out instead of up therefore, I have spent so much money on different eyelash curlers thinking it was just no hope. I finally googled best eyelash curlers on the market and this one popped up. Price was good and WOW, I must say it works better than any I’ve tried yet. Has a firm, soft grip and curls them right up I highly recommend!!!

I'm so glad I purchased this one. It does an excellent job of curling my lashes (I have long and straight lashes). I then add an eyelash primer before applying mascara. The best thing about this curler is that it doesn't hurt and it didn't remove any of my lashes

My sister taught me when I was 12 how to curl my eyelashes. She told me to never skip this step because it would make my eyes look bigger and less tired. And I have done that ever since. I have had many curlers since then and thought they were all basically the same. I have two that I was using before buying this one. They both had major flaws. The one I had the longest, did a great job of curling and keeping my lashes curled. But it was not wide enough to get all my lashes in. So I would opt to do the outside corner of my lashes and not worry about the inside corner. Then I received another curler for Christmas and it was wide enough for all my lashes but they would not stay curled for very long with mascara on. So I finally decided to buy a new one. It was between this one and different one that also had good reviews but not as many reviews as this one. I chose this one and decided that it would have to be perfect or I was sending it back using the guarantee. I bought the silver one because it was cheaper and it came on time and was nicely packaged. It comes in a cute box and inside, the curler is inside a black bag. It would make a nice gift for your friend who loves makeup! My face was freshly washed, without make up - when it arrived. I took the curler out of the bag and read the instructions. This is very important. This curler is used in a different way than the others I have. It says to curl your lashes all the way at the bottom at first. Each eye for a count of two. Then, move the curler up a little at a 45 degree angle and squeeze again for a count of two. Then again, a little higher up on lashes - for another count of two. I did this and looked at my lashes. They were amazing!!! I will admit that I do have long lashes to begin with. They are not real thick - but they are long and are not sparse all across my eye line. Also, they do kind of curl on their own. I read reviews of others saying their lashes grow straight up or out. I am not saying this to brag, I am just saying that I can not a test to any other type of lashes but my own. I had decided to leave my lashes just curled without any mascara for 24 hours and see if they were still curled the next morning. To my delight, they were! Not perfectly, there were a couple of lashes askew, but I was impressed. Now for the next test! I decided to wash my face and put on full make up. I used the curler the same way and applied the mascara. I used the same amount I always do and did not use the kind that makes your lashes look longer. Just normal brown mascara. I left it on for another 24 hours to see if my lashes would droop or un curl like they did with the old curler. And to my surprise - they were still curled the next morning and stayed that way for the full 24 hours! I will be keeping this curler as it passed my rigid test! It was so worth the money and I loved how it made lashes look - so full and curled. I highly recommend this curler.

I usually use shiseido brand, but the rubber curler kept falling out, so I tried these. They’re very stiff, and have broke my lashes off on the corners, because they are so rigid, I feel like I have to push down so hard just get them to curl, and they don’t even really do that well. I have average length lashes, and after I curl them they’re still just average length lashes. They are nice looking, come with refills and a cute bag, but didn’t do it for me. May work well for people with longer lashes

I thought this was a safe choice with the thousands of reviews but this is the worst eyelash curler i have ever used. the rubber insert falls out everytime i use the eyelash curler. the metal finish is not smooth on the edges and feels rough against my skin when i am curing my eyelashes. the curved shape is not the natural shape of a lash line & you can not get an even curl on all your lashes. the curls themselves do not look great my natural lashes have a better curl than what you are able to achieve with this. the handles are uncomfortable to use & the product itself is stiff and does not glide smooth. I could see losing eyelashes in this curler. don’t wast your money!!
