Cons: In rare occasions, it randomly freezes and I can be seen frantically tapping to watch to see if it will come on. Could be just me, but somehow my watch face has gotten really scratched up from just normal usage. Provided silicon band is starting to break near clip. Late at night, sometimes it thinks that I have already been sleeping for hours, and usually I catch it and tell it to stop recording it as sleep.

Cons: In rare occasions, it randomly freezes and I can be seen frantically tapping to watch to see if it will come on. Late at night, sometimes it thinks that I have already been sleeping for hours, and usually I catch it and tell it to stop recording it as sleep.
It hits all the marks I was looking for in terms of features. From tracking my steps throughout the day to monitoring my heart rate and even keeping tabs on my hydration levels by tracking cups of water, this device offers functions that cater to my needs. And, the battery life pleasantly surprised me, lasting four solid days on a single charge, which exceeded my expectations.
However, I encountered a slight hiccup, which may stem from a misinterpretation on my part. Initially, I had hoped this model would seamlessly sync with Garmin IC Connect, but unfortunately, I haven't achieved this functionality. I may be overlooking something in the setup process, but it's a minor setback in an otherwise stellar experience.
Overall, I can't help but praise this fitness/health tracker. Its blend of style and substance and impressive features make it a great companion if you are looking to elevate your fitness journey while maintaining a touch of sophistication.
The only widgets on my watch are fluid intake, sleep, intensity minutes and phone notices. The digital watch face gives me step count, heart rate and battery life.
It is a little buggy at times but honestly has never bothered me. The sleep tracking isn’t super accurate but ok for what I need.
.
The hands are very thin and you have to get the light to shine off them at just the right angle even in daylight for viewing. If the hands were just a little wider and maybe colored, they'd be great. However, in dim light, they are invisible. There's no backlight or glow-in-the-dark feature to illuminate the hands. So, you have to rely on the OLED display.
.
In daylight, I found the AUTO brightness for the display to be less accurate for visibility than always using setting 7. 7 is too bright in the dark. 7 in bright sunlight can still be washed out and you, have to move the watch to get into some shade to see the display to check your heart rate, steps, etc. That said, the watch was usable and looks very classy. I wasn't blown away at this point, but I liked the watch so far, despite the mild disappointment.
.
In the evening as the light faded, I found the hands very difficult to see. The digital display had to be used for timekeeping. Using the wrist gesture mode, the display comes on every time you look at the watch. You have several choices of display screen content for the display with the wrist gesture. I found it irritating that with that first/main screen showing my chosen clock and stats "watch face", when swiping right for other info, the second screen is also a clock display! More disappointment but still a nice watch!
.
At bedtime, my phone is set to "Do Not Disturb". My watch will be silent, I thought. Not the case! The watch still vibrated and the display lit up as messages came in to the phone but were simply logged and kept in the background and not visible or heard on the phone. I had to set Do Not Disturb on my watch using the Garmin Connect app so that it is actuated automatically during my sleep hours. During the night, when I wanted to check the time, I double-tapped the watch to wake up the display and was blinded by the ‘7’ brightness setting. I then realized I could not read the tiny display without my glasses!! Even lowering the brightness didn't help. With hands, I can still see the positions and can tell the time without actually seeing clearly. Digital - you actually have to look, register, and process. Analog - you can just glance and process after as your eyes move away from a display.
I was now done with this watch and it got returned the next morning. I ordered the Garmin Vivoactive 4S for $30 more, not a hybrid smartwatch but with back illumination and an 'always on' display.
.
If I had some hand-illumination on the Vivomove Sport, I'd have been happy with the watch. At $173 the price was right. The classy look was just what I wanted. However, if you can only use this with glasses on, it's no use to me. I love the Garmin Connect app and decided to stay with Garmin watches for that reason.
.
I hope this review helps you with your purchase decision.

Other than MoveIQ, I'm pretty sure I'm running the watch on the heavier side of battery load, and I get about 5 days (that's giving it a 15 min boost, on a slow brick, when I'm in the shower as well, since there is no point wearing it there anyway).
Sleep tracking seems to be quite accurate, as I tend to be able to predict what it'll say, based on how I wake up.
Similarly I find the Body Battery metric to, also, be quite close to, if not, on point.
Styling is very nice, tho the strap itself feels a bit cheap. The hybrid design lends to a nice traditional watch, whole having just a little information available.
Given the small screen, it's no shock that I haven't really used the notifications in depth. It's good for quick messages and short replies, but, being fair a hybrid really isn't meant for much more than telling you "Hey, you got a thing", and, if screen present in any fashion, maybe a "It's Facebook from this person". So for it's design, again, flawless.
More of the watches main settings should be in the Connect app, and synced in. The small screen doesn't lend to a long menu, alert strength, and other fixed settings, should all be set in Connect, and synced over. The menu should be all On Demand functions, like the activity menu. Icons only takes a learning curve, but it does reduce SOME of the clutter feeling.
Overall, if you want a stylish Hybrid, with a full array of health tracking features, with moderate sports tracking, at a budget friendly price. This is a SOLID device.
