    I purchased this phone for my wife about 2 years ago and it has been a very good phone. It's been very reliable, but after a couple of years, the battery is starting to fade. The fingerprint reader did take a while to get right, just had to provide it with lots of data. The camera is excellent, along with the screen. The phone is pretty heavy, at least when compared to my 6a, but then again it is a bigger phone. It does have a case on it, it needs to, my wife drops it about once a week, but it has never suffered damage. All in all a great phone.

    I just came from the iphone 13, very happy with my switch! I can address some things I've had issues with to help others on the fence.

    Bluetooth audio: Very low, I'm using AirPod Pros. And yes I even went into developer settings to try and fix it. I'll have volume on max and it only sounds like it's half way. Had to download a third party app, max volume booster, to get the quality I want. That being said now it's great, the sound sounds great, it was just too quiet.

    Finger print sensor: I can't say I have any qualms with it, especially after having to come from a face scanner that doesn't work well on my skin tone. From having to have a phone scan my face, say it can't read it, and me having to put in a six digit code to unlock my phone to just putting my thumb on my screen for 0.3 seconds I'm more than happy. A light shines on the screen under your thumb, that may annoy some people but not me.

    Battery: I appreciate the battery saver and extreme battery saver options. When I went to work my phone was around 60%, I work a 12 hour shift with minimal use on the phone itself but I check for messages and browse Twitter on my breaks. I turned on extreme power save after I hit 20%. After a few hours and my shift ended I had around 11%. Take that for what you will, it's not so bad but I think I'll bring a power bank with me just in case or keep a charger in my car for when I can't reach 100% charge before work.

    I love the layout, the one UI, the little touches like how an animation plays when I plug my phone in and the swipe left or right on your phone to go back to a previous page. This may be biased as I came from an Apple product and not an Android one, so my praises may not be anything special to the seasoned Android user. But for 600$, I got a phone at a decent weight with a beautiful display and access to all my apps.

    This will for sure be my main phone for years that's for sure, or maybe until a pixel 7 comes out whichever comes first.

    I wouldn't say I liked this product, so I switched to my old pixel 4.

    Pixel 6 has a network issue. So, it usually disconnects to the network, and I need to wait a couple of seconds to reconnect. Sometimes it's required to restart the phone to have a network.

    I observed another issue: The fingerprint does not work very well. Usually, I unlock without using the fingerprint.

    I researched and found that pixel 6 has these types of defects. If I had known about it before, I am sure I wouldn't have bought it.

    This phone came in perfect condition! Other than not having the original box (which is stated) that is the only way I could tell it wasn't brand new! I've been using for 2 days and not any problems have arose. I was able to pop my sim card in and switch all my data from my previous phone with no problems at all!! Now apparently straight talk will not authorize wifi calling for this phone or so they say it's unavailable but it hasn't been an issue yet. I was concerned at first since most others phones I have needed the wifi calling at my house but this is also the first 5g phone I've had so whatever the case my be I am receiving calls in all the places I use to need wifi calling for at this point in time. I am happy I decided to give Google a try! So far so good! Oh and the camera is FABULOUS!!!

    I've been using this phone since it released, the camera is one of the best out there, the battery life can get me through the day (heavy use) with no issue, the display is great for me at least (coming from pixel 4), and the software is smooth and flawless and you get the updates before anyone else. However, Google intentionally blocks basic services overseas (5G, volte and vowifi) and blames the carriers for not supporting it even though it has nothing to do with them as all other phones work everywhere in the world and some folks on XDA found that Google is doing that intentionally by blocking it in system's code and the only way to get it working is by rooting (voids warranty), so I wouldn't recommend it for people who travel a lot.

    Twice today the phone has gotten stuck in landscape mode while on the lock screen even though auto rotate is turned off. Unlocking the phone didn't help nor did turning on auto rotate. It took a reboot to "fix" it.

    Update: I had originally complained about removing the soft keys for back/home/recents but found a setting to restore them and turn off the gestures for those "features". So I have added a star to my review.

    About once a week the overnight adaptive charging based on a morning alarm stops after an hour or so and leaves the battery at around 60% when the alarm goes off. I am really starting to hate this phone! Back down to 1 star.

    Had this for about two months now and is a great phone. Had a oneplus 6T before this and found this to be an easy transition. My own mistake was to install a screen protector which made the fingerprint sensor near impossible to use.

    Phone has great signal when I popped in my T mobile sim for a recent road trip to USA . Minimal signal loss and 5g for most of the trip.
