+ Holds Oculus + charger cable + 4 AA batteries
+ Everything is snuggly held down, no bouncing
+ Cushins protect the headset
+ Cover is sturdy, not flimsy/wobbly
Cons:
- NOT WATER RESISTANT, to protect from carrying in the rain or accidentally spilling stuff on it.
- One size, so if your head is a bit small or larger than the size it comes in, you're going to have to readjust the straps before putting it back (small inconvenience, but not that bad)
- Price
Love it! I always took my VR everywhere, but only in a bag that wasn't really sturdy with the wires and everything bouncing around. This case definitely HOLDS (ex: pic 3 with just the case holding the controller up) everything down so that they don't shift around in the container. I managed to squeeze in four AA batteries in the compartment for the wire/charger as well.
The water resistance issue is easily solved by just putting it on a bag or another backpack, which I often carry a backpack everywhere I go anyways.

Theres not much extra room to fit more then the basics. Im able to carry extra batteries for the controllers, a microfiber cloth for lenses, the charger, and earbuds. Theres enough room you could fit a small external battery, but iv yet to purchase one.
Overall its a well made discreet case, that fits the basics plus some small extras, it has a premium feel to the material and hard protective exterior.
It's great at exactly what it is for. I'd like to have a tiny bit more room, but am still very happy with it overall.
Unless you have the headset such that its headstraps are on the smallest settings though, it's always just a little too great a squeeze to fit. It's good that it's snug, but really the foam insets and such could have done that anyway, that they didn't need it to also be so snug for the back half of the headset to give a little extra room for accessories and/or the headset itself.
Still I kinda knew that going into the purchase as others had said similar - so happy to be able to back up those statements making this not a perfect item, but still good and not enough to detract or dissuade me from using it.
I got mine I think at end of Aug / early Sept as it was sold out until then when I first ordered it. No signs of wear (even with the travels) though I'm a bit meticulous about care anyway, so wasn't expecting any especially in this timeframe.
Word of caution, don't leave anything floating around inside the case that isn't very well secured. You don't want it to be able to jostle around and touch/bump against the headset lenses - they aren't protected from that in the case, so either use the little pocket for the cables or secure them some other way (e.g. velcro strap whatever it is securely to the headset's own strap, to keep it away). Not that you have much room inside for things anyway, but the room you do have, you need to be careful with.

CONCLUSION:

- The handle on top serves as something to hold onto for the few short moments going from backpack to table. The Quest Case is designed to be stuffed into a backpack and is uncomfortable to transport on its own
- The slot for cables and other small attachments is *just* large enough for the parts that come with the case. Due to the method used for storing the controllers, there is very little usable room inside for much more than that
- This case is TIGHT, and it fits everything it needs to the dot, no extra space or anything, as it is barely larger than the headset itself. While this makes it good for transport, any extra attachments you buy or add will have to be removed and either carried separately or just left at home.
Despite these issues, the case is durable and has a quality feel to it, with the cloth materials used making sure your expensive gear isn't damaged or scratched no matter the impact. Seeing as the case is designed to be put into a backpack, this also means the compact size is actually a benefit rather than an issue as it makes room for more items in the backpack.
Overall, I would highly recommend this product, especially if you aren't planning on having extra gear for Oculus Link or attachments for batteries, etc. This works perfectly for a vanilla Quest, and I would definitely buy it again if I needed to.
