Works but may not worth the trade off
This case came with top and bottom parts with an extra top part without the clear plastic to use with 3rd party screen protector if you want. It also include a pack of cleaning wipe.Install the case is easier than average screen productor and the phone seems Well protected.There are however,1. Because the use of top and bottom parts, it makes the slim phone not only looks bulky, it feels a bit too wide in hand! Not very comfortable to hold unless you have large hand but then why buy a slim phone in the first place?2. The screen protector is made of clear plastic but except the finger print area, it is air gap between the protector and the phone screen, the end result degraded display quality far more than normal protector. Also because the finger print area is sticking to the screen, you can see a big circle on the screen and can be distracting.3. There is a rubber cover on the USB C port, although it is for protection, it also hinder charging.4. The sim card access is blocked by not just the bottom cover, it is also blocked by the top cover. If you need to access sim card, you need to remove both top and bottom covers. Major inconvenience.Overall, I regret very much getting thiss bulky case. If I can return it, I will.Edit 7/14/20211. Added more pictures to show the cycle in the finger print area. If you want to use this case, plan to buy a different screen protector and use it with the empty front frame.2. I needed a case for my Kali NetHunter phone that runs on this OnePlus phone and found this case and bought it.
It fits nicely, seems durable so far, snaps off and on easily, not much issue there.
It comes with two face plates, one with a screen protector, one without.
I prefer the glass screen protector so this works out but it's nice to have a backup.
The rubber seems rugged and so far, my only problem with this is that the rubber area near the charge port prevents me from plugging some of my chargers into it b/c of the thickness of the rubber.
Small issue but maybe that level of rubber is necessary to protect the device.
Overall, good product.
