This a beautiful piece of aluminum. It is very cold to the touch giving you all the confidence you need that it will keep even the hottest NVME drives cool under heavy loads.

The best part is the ease of installation. Plug in your SSD, peel off the plastic, put the heatsink on, done! No screwing around, literally.

I had the MJQRH heatsink before this and I regret purchasing that as it is not meant for 4TB/double sided SSD’s. It left some screw scratches/marks on my expensive drive and it just feels bad man.

I highly recommend this heatsink as it was designed with PS5 in mind unlike the other mainstream heatsink which are much better suited for PC environments. Do yourself a favor and get this immediately!

I imagine if this fit how i needed, this would be 5 stars, I was disappointed that there was no size guide or anything indicating that it wouldn't fit based on how my memory stick is designed. There is a piece where the adhesive sits, that sits down into the slot (ideally over the memory stick and the cap).
I will say the quality felt great, nice and heavy, a solid adhesive strip, clean design, easy to install if everything else is correct. I am only speaking for my memory stick, Gamestops 2TB**

I picked up a 4TB Samsung on a huge discount, but it didn’t have a heat spreader. I took a chance on this and it has been working great. The combination was much much cheaper than anything else I could find and I have been using it for about a month now without issues.
If I find another deal on the same drive, I’d do this again in a heartbeat for others in my family.
After reading other reviews: Only buy this for drives that do not have heat dissipation already. Most of the negative reviews I perused were trying to use this with another solution. No bueno.

The last SSD I purchased for PS5 had a heatsink attached but didn't perform well as the heat was not getting removed. Instead heat got accumulated and hampered SSD performance. So I purchased a Samsung 990 Pro SSD and the Sabrent PS5 heatsink to go with it. For the last three months this has been performing smoothly even during long gaming sessions. The build quality is metallic premium. If you have a PS5 and you're installing an SSD in it, make sure you get the Sabrent heatsink to go with it.

Questo dissipatore passivo della Sabrent l'ho preso dopo aver letto per bene il fatto che l'ssd nvme va inserito dentro la PS5 con un dissipatore di calore. Poi ho anche letto che la basetta di metallo della Sony pare crei colli di bottiglia ostacolando il ricircolo d'aria all'interno dell'alloggiamento dove sta l'nvme.. Indi per cui ho optato per prendere quello ufficiale Sabrent e specificatamente pensato per raffreddare l'nvme direttamente sfruttando la ventola della PS5. Questa basetta praticamente funge da dissipatore passivo perfettamente integrato con la scocca e l'alloggiamento della PS5, andando di fatto a sostituire la placca di metallo che vi è in origine.

A detta di Sabrent e di chi lo ha già preso e misurato le temperature, questo dissipatore\placca, fornita di pasta termica già applicata, tiene molto fresche le temp dell'Nvme.

Posso dire per quanto ho avuto modo di vedere che:

1) La placca è facilissima da montare
2) La pasta termica è già applicata e va solo tolta la plastica protettiva
3) La qualità dei materiali è assoluta

Onestamente mi sento di consigliarlo a chiunque stia valutando di aggiungere un Nvme alla poca memoria interna della PS5, senza comprare dissipatori passivi da montare. Con questo della Sabrent avrete poco sbatti e tanta qualità.
