Galaxy S10 😊 WoW...this Galaxy is all kinds of HOT... I thought i was done with samsung forever after the s6.. BUT this S10 got my attention had to get one. Really beautiful all around edge to edge screen that is truly superb. The picture is crisp clear and vivid. UI "one" 1.1 is clean and Android "pie" 9 smooth. Fast and precise and loaded with tweak features👍🏻 this phone is lit. My only nag is knox, i forgot about knox, i hate knox and i hope maybe somthn has changed? 🤬...i have owned S1-S6 and luved all but the S6 samsung ruined. This model is the USA unlocked for carrier but has locked bootloader so no root. There is a UK version made in Hong Kong that has the snapdragon with bootloader that can be unlocked, I'm not sure if it has a warranty or not. If u absolutely want root buy the international version with no USA warranty. This USA version is not preloaded with all the carrier and garbage apps it has a few Google but not really a big enough bother to me to want root. I'd buy a s7 or s8 maybe s9 international to root but y spend $ for a phone brand new with no warranty??

I can use multiple apps at once in either split screen mode or having them in windows on my desktop. It's absolutely incredible. This does so much more than an iphone ever could!!! I bought this phone during Amazon's July 2019 Prime Day since it had a nice discount and my old S7 was getting slow and a little wonky. I was a bit nervous given the various reviews people have given but, decided to risk it. As of this writing, I've only had it 4 days so it's possible my 5 star review could change. That said, here's what I know so far:

This phone IS indeed an unlocked US version and most definitely has the Snapdragon processor. I moved my sim card over from my old phone and it activated flawlessly and quickly on Verizon's network. I'm still learning the various nuances and features of the phone, but so far I'm impressed. The phone is very fast, the graphics and performance are excellent and the battery life is a significant improvement over my S7. I still can't find specifics about what the stated "limited Warranty" actually is and I'd like to know that. I am considering a square trade or some other warranty in case of accidents but, they seem to be VERY expensive. I am careful but, accidents do happen.

Anyway, my bottom line is the description, though brief, was accurate and so far I'm very pleased with the phone and the discounted price I paid.

I was worried that there would be something wrong with the phone since I bought it from Amazon Warehouse. But I've had it for 2months and couple days now, and it works great.

Lots of updates need to be done when you get it because it's like brand new.

The camera is awesome. People who have used my phone or I've sent pictures to, commented on the quality of the pics.

For data settings, it didn't automatically find the correct setting so my data wasnt working, but the fix was pretty simple in settings where access point names are chosen.

I paid a little over $400 for this phone and I'm pretty happy with it thus far.

This phone is great. Long battery life, easy to figure out. Getting it used/refurbished is a great idea to save money. It's almost perfect minus the very noticeable scratch on the screen. That was disappointing but it was used so I should have expected a defect. Hopefully once I put a screen protector on it will obscure it. But otherwise a great purchase.

I'm a notorious tightwad with upgrading my phone. My last upgrade was to a Galaxy S5 back in 2014, and I scoff at the idea of updating every year or every two years. That said, it was getting a little long in the tooth by last December, and after seeing an astonishingly good deal for Prime Card members, I took the plunge.

If you are switching from such a phone to this one, you will either need to get a new SIM card, or you can get a puncher to cut it down to the correct side. I elected to use the latter solution, and to my surprise, it worked. Be sure to have a small paperclip around to open the port for SIM and SD cards.

The phone is slim as one would expect, and yet it's huger than my S5. I'm not entirely thrilled by the camera being part of the screen for certain widescreen videos, but you get used to it.

For moving files over, it was a cinch when using Samsung Smart Switch. Just install the app on both phones, and touch the phones together to initiate the transfer.

A couple of slight gripes:

- I prefer to have physical buttons rather than the digital buttons. It's mostly not a problem, but occasionally, when I have an app in widescreen, I have to get out of the app to use the buttons.

- Samsung, please get rid of the Bixby button. I've lost count of how many times I've accidentally pushed it. and I will never use the app.

Only problem I have with it: my external microSD card can't be written to by anything besides 1 app - the Samsung one is not as easy to shift things with as the Google file management app. It says what I need to do to let another app manage it, but can't find any menu to accomplish it in their app or the google app. I can't even find the specific app it says I need to give permission to. Other than that, good phone life; still finding new locations for old functionality (like how to set a time for a message to go out... it's buried deeper here than my old phone, just found it 6 months later!)
