Was a great step up from my sandisk 256gb as this one is noticeably faster when recording video and taking pictures. By that I mean there is far less "processing" going on as before in the background my phone would tell me that it's putting on the finishing touches and would have to wait to "use" the photo...
This micro SD card has no wait at all after snapping a photo or video. And in succession at that as I would believe this would be the most reliable part of the reads and writes of said card.
All in all I am very satisfied with my purchase as this was roughly $138 at the time of this review.
Only complaint I could still give to this day is that I still do not understand the loss in storage space after it being formatted. I understood this concept when it was a mechanical platter in there containing them 1's and 0's, but things are a bit different today. No platters for space to be an issue when storing data. Why wouldn't manufacturers over provision their chips so that it would be exactly the size the customer had bought...???
