I first heard of this game while hanging out at a friends BBQ. Apparently several of his kids take turns playing it and they all love it. Sounded interesting, so I bought a copy and have been playing it every chance I get. It's a very well thought out and rewarding game if you put in the effort. It can be as easy or challenging as you make it and supports all playing styles from casual to hardcore. The world starts off small, but gets larger and larger the more areas you unlock. Just when you think you have done everything possible, a new range of abilities, customization, and challenges open up that makes you want to grind even more. Just love the slimes bouncing around as happy as can be just doing their thing. You can combine them the way you want out of preference to see a cool or adorable new slime or out of necessity to make the most money. The farming aspect is also well thought out. Each breed of slime prefers its own type of food which makes diversified crops a necessity if you want happy slimes and maximum profit. It's a great game to break up the monotony of most modern games that all follow the same boring style. My only real complaint is the very limited inventory system, but that is part of the challenge of managing your ranch. Through upgrades it becomes a lot more practical, but I still believe it could use one or two more slots.

The initial load time is long and sometimes the framerate drops when a lot is going on on screen. Other than that this game is alot of fun and make for good stress relief. The world is fun to explore, there is a lot to do, and its fun experimenting with the slimes to see what kind of Gordon they become. My favorites are definately the Phospher, Hunter, honey, and Mosaic Slimes, with Phosphor and honey Gordo combinations being my favorite hybrids, especially for free roaming. I hope eventually the devs release new slimes or add even more to the game.

I played it on Steam before the PS4 release and playing it again with my friend (it's was a gift for her) is bringing back all the feelings of playing this game again. The game case was clean, no scratches, the disk reads perfectly fine no scratches there either, and was pleasantly surprised by the theme the game gives you.

This game is about discovery and adventure. It doesn't baby you with fetch quests. The mechanics are clean, nothing is choppy, everything makes sense. The story is so wonderfully and subtlety told. As the player discovers more and more, the game opens up more and more. This really is the game where the curious cat doesn't die, but flies! You won't regret a game like this. It's one of a kind.

This game was very fun. Not much of a story, it's just a free range movement game, so if that's your cup of tea, go right ahead. Very free, you can kind of do whatever around everywhere. Find cute slimes and harvest them and thrown them around with a blaster, and sell orbs. Sort of like a free range tycoon, but it's very calming. Great game to mute, and listen to music over. But it also has cute natural sounds. Grind on the game and you'll eventually be stuck or something of the sorts. If you're more laid back with gameplay, or this looks cute, this is definitely a necessity.

It's a simple game, but more to it than first expected. It's tons of fun, the slimes are super cute!
It's exactly as it says in the title. You have a ranch, you keep slimes on it, grow or collect crops to feed them. You can keep chicken coops too or catch wild chickens. When you feed them you make money so you can expand your ranch and visit new areas with new slimes to catch.
Very enjoyable, non complicated game.
