I am a fairly picky person when it comes to phone cases and certainly moreso when it comes to taking time out of my day to review one so allow me to share with you what makes this case great. For one, the size of this case is near perfection for its slimness as well as how snugly it holds the phone within. Then you consider the textured material (which I actually didn't expect) and stylish "cushions" at the ends of the case and how the phone just feels somehow cooler inside of it, which let's be honest most cases are garish. Finally, the most important feature of the case: it's durability. This is the equivalent of a fitted kevlar vest, what it lacks in bulk it makes up for solid, sturdy material. I highly recommend if you have a Moto G7 and want a minimalist yet fashionable protective casing for your new phone.

Very pleased with this protective case for my Moto G7 Plus. Very easy to install, has a good tight fit with a beveled edge to protect the screen, as well as a good grip to it as I found the G7 to be very smooth and somewhat slippery. It is also very slim as it fits my carrying case perfectly. Don't understand some of the negative reviews regarding the poor fit. This protector fits all the buttons, camera, and fingerprint device perfectly. I can only surmise that perhaps some reviewers ordered the case for the wrong Moto G7 as there are several different models, with differing positioning for the buttons and slots. You must pay attention to your specific model number when ordering. Not sure how well it will protect the phone if dropped as I have not yet dropped it. I recommend this case for the Moto G7 Plus.

Pretty nice if you have a G7 or G7 Plus

First off, don't believe any of the misleading negative reviews about the camera/fingerprint scanner cut-out not lining up. If you have the G7 or G7 Plus model (NOT THE G7 POWER OR G7 PLAY, YES THERE ARE 4 VARIANTS OF THIS PHONE, MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHICH ONE YOU HAVE) the case should fit fine and doesn't block off any ports or anything else. If you want to double check and make sure you have the proper model for this case, look at the product pictures and check with the camera comparison picture that differentiates the 4 phone models.

So far for the price I'm at least content with my purchase. The case could feel maybe a tiny bit sturdier in some spots, but the fit and design that helps protect aspects of the phone like the screen and camera are very nice.

I had a Spigen Tough Armor case for a Galaxy S5 and it served me very well. So while this is a slight downgrade from that type of case, I still have faith that this should keep my phone moderately safe. The corners feel nice and strong and the "air-cushion" design inside should help with the impact on falls/drops. The raised lips by the camera and screen keep both safely off of any flat surfaces so that's an added bonus.

The case works fine with my tempered glass screen protector, no issues with fit or anything so now I have an extra layer of protection on both fronts.

I'll make an update on durability once I've owned the protector for more than a few days, but so far it's quite a nice case (although I think it could be the slightest bit cheaper)

A Great Protection for Moto G7

My wife and I use Spigen cases for all our phones (Moto E4, Moto X4, Pixel 3a) and now Moto G7. Spigen cases saved my phones numerous times when they were dropped in parking lot, department stores, school, and at home. The drops were usually from a waist high. And all my phones survived. No screen damage. So I trust Spigen brand. For this particular case:
1. It is as always better quality than other slim cases that look similar. The sturdiness (or density) of the the case is apparent when compared to other slim cases.
2. The corner is well protected with air cushion technology (now being imitated by cheaper cases). This is about the design of the inside the case, where between the corner of the phone and the case, there is an air bump that separates the phone and the case - thus when the corner of the phone hits the floor, there is no real impact on the phone - thus preventing it from shattering the screen.
3. The cutouts are as usual, precise. All the ports are accessible. I know some of the reviewers said that the back camera and the fingerprint sensors do not exactly (perfectly) fit, this claim is somewhat true. I would say, it fits not 100% but about 95%. This is so, because the case is designed for BOTH G7 and G7 PLUS. And G7 PLUS is slightly thicker (8mm vs 8.27mm). So in G7 case, the overall feeling of the case is slightly relaxed and not as tight as other Spigen cases for Moto brand. But overall protection of the phone remains the same.

In addition to the case, you might want to protect the display with a tempered-glass screen protector. This is just another layer of protection for your phone just in case it is dropped - tempered glass screen protector will shatter but the display screen will be spared. All in all, the Spigen case for Moto G7 is almost perfect and I am very satisfied with the quality. Recommended!

Fits Like a Glove

To be honest, I normally hate phone covers and rarely use them. They are usually bulky and make it hard to get the device in and out of your pocket. I've owned both an original Moto X and a Moto G4 that I used without covers, but this new G7 Plus with the Gorilla Glass front and back, is like trying to hold onto a wet fish. Every time I picked it up or took it out, I was worried that I would drop it. So I chose this cover because it adds just 0.13 inches of thickness to the phone. It fits perfectly, and I can hardly tell a difference in size with it on. The textured matte finish looks nice and provides an easy grip. It seems pretty durable too. I cannot say how well it protects in a fall because I haven't dropped the phone with it on, which was the whole point of having it. Well-pleased with this purchase.

First let me say that you really need to make sure you are ordering the correct case for your model. There are 3 different cases under the same Moto G7 banner. G7/G7 plus, G7 power and G7 play.

As the title states, the case I received for my G7 plus is a very precise fit in all regards. The button protections are nicely stress releaved making the pressing effort virtually indistinguishable from that without the case.

The quality of the material is much better than other cases I've bought being slightly stiffer and with a much nicer texture. The accents are seamlessly incorporated and the I really like ridge protector for camera lens.

Over-all the build and material quality is excellent. This is my first Spigen case. I think the true test of any product is if you'd buy it again. Yes, I would.

Die Hülle ist super passgenau zum Motorola G7 Plus. Selbst kleinste Ausschnitte liegen auf den Teil eines Millimeters zentriert dort, wo sie sollen. An solchen Details merkt man, dass hier nicht einfach irgendetwas hingeschustert wurde, sondern mitgedacht.
Die Bedienknöpfe (Lautstärke/Standby) tippen sich auch weiterhin mit angenehmen Druckpunkt, das Oberflächenfinish ist leicht rauh und rutscht dadurch nicht aus der Hand.
Der Ausschnitt um den Fingerabdrucksensor ist schräger ausgeschnitten, so dass das Auflegen des Fingers nicht an einer scharfen Kante erfolgt und Platz genug für den Finger ist.
Generell macht die Hülle das Handy schon etwas größer und satter in der Dicke, das kommt mir persönlich allerdings sogar entgegen un das Handy besser zu händeln.
Die Wulst um die Kamera herum ist deutlich erhöht, was kleinere Sandkörner oder ähnliches absolut vom Kameraglas fernhalten sollte, sobald das Handy auf z.B. einem Tisch aufliegt oder darüber verschoben wird. Die Wulst am Rand des Displays ist ausreichend erhaben, ein guter Spagat aus Bedienbarkeit für die Finger und Schutz des Displays.

Summa summarum: der Hersteller liefert hier ein sauber verarbeitetes, durchdachtes Produkt ab, das zudem robust erscheint und noch dazu einen absolut fairen Preis hat. Eine absolute Empfehlung, diese Hülle, wobei ich natürlich nur die Variante für das G7 Plus beurteilen kann.
