    Excellent case to pair with your V40
    I had picked this case up along with the Spigen Clear Case and this was the hands down favorite. The textured surface on the back is smooth to the touch yet doesn't feel slippery. The case was very easy to slide in and out of my pocket. The carbon fiber top and bottoms are a great contrast to the back and feels great in the hand. The case doesn't collect fingerprints or oils which is nice. The cutout holes are generous and perfectly positioned. The front lip is just enough to protect the screen without being intrusive. None of the edges around the case felt sharp yet I never felt like I didn't have complete control while holding it.One concern I had with the case would be it's impact on the boombox speaker loudness against a solid surface. We tried with and without the case and neither my wife or I could tell any difference which is good. I have the black version of the V40 and this case goes so well with it. Looks stealthy yet very clean and professional. Highly recommend getting this case and giving it a try.

    It does what it says it does. Great cover, fixes the issues I had with the phone's design. I have the glossy black LG V40 and it was SUPER prone to fingerprints/smudges on the back; So much that it was driving me nuts. This case is made with a soft material that does not really show the average smudge/fingerprint and I love it.

    All the button presses are not protruding too much and work just fine, and the added thickness helps with handling the phone. It adds just the right amount of thickness in my opinion, not too slim where it feels like it'll slip out of your hands, but not too thick where it feels bulky and uncomfortable in my front pocket.

    All the cutouts are accurate and it's fits snug over the phone. Not too loose or not too tight where it's difficult to put the phone into the case.

    Can't really say how much protection it gives because I'm not going to drop test my phone, nor do I really drop my phone to begin with.

    The only thing I would say is the carbon fiber accents are just there for looks, and I wouldn't have minded a case that had the smudgeless matte look throughout. Aside from that... This case is well worth the $13 I spent on it. Enough protection for most every day use, feels durable and not super cheap, anti-smudge matte finish is a huge plus, and doesn't break your wallet.

    I have had this case for about 2 months now and am very pleased with it.
    The case arrived super stat and fit the phone perfectly. The little lip provided some protection to the screen as it keeps the screen from touching the ground when the phone is placed face-down. (It helped me tremendously while I was waiting for the screen protection sheet in separate shipping.)

    Recently I went on an Amtrak trip and when I got off the train, the phone slipped out of the pocket of my backpack and hit the concrete surface of the platform hard. I was devastated but the phone, as well as the case, had ZERO damage, even NO scratch. The dust was easily wiped off clean with a dry cloth and that was it. The phone is still working fine as if nothing had happened. I also dropped the phone again from the table on to the kitchen floor and the screen protection came off as the corner of the phone hit the floor. The phone landed face down without the screen protection. Well, the phone was absolutely fine. The lip of the case protected the screen from the contact with the floor. Nothing was damaged. Clean. I was very impressed.

    The only thing is, I personally don't like a black case, so I was going to buy another case soon. But I started to like this case very much because it is not just plain black but has a cool matte black and shiny stripe patterns on the top and bottom.

    This case is worth the money I spent, and actually has been doing more than that. Very good quality and hightly recommended.

The case sticks out just above the screen to give it a but of cushion should it fall face first, and the case itself is durable. I've dropped my phone a few times with the case on and it has been well protected each time.

    The case doesn't add any addition weight to the phone and is slim, ensuring the phone maintains its original shape. It's also easy to hold and doesn't slip out of my hand, which is a plus.

    As with any Spigen case, you can't go wrong with this one!

    In my case for the LG V40 ThinQ being a larger phone the grip is sort of a challenge, the cover is not soft enough to hold on to an angled hard surface ( ie a plastic car dash ) or on cloth ie wearing jeans, rest it on my lap) it slides off when I move. But overall is a great Quality cover for its Price.

    I love this case. It's sleek, easy to put on, and weighs 34 grams which takes the total weight of phone & case to 203 grams. (For reference, the iPhone XS Max weighs 208 grams but that's with no case. The Note 9 weighs 201 grams with no case) It provides some grip in the hand but also slides into the pocket easily. I used the same Spigen model for my Samsung S6 for three years. That phone survived probably 15 drops over that time. Yes, I'm a phone dropper. I'm hoping it can protect my V40 as well, I'll update this review if I have any problems. Finally, when you place the phone face down on a surface, the case keeps the screen from touching the surface. Same goes for the camera lens. All in all a perfect case imo.

Love the raised edge on the front so if the phone is face down the screen is protected. The case is super durable and I have had no issues, it still looks pretty much new. I base my phone purchase off of if I could get this case for it. (Almost bought the v35, but it was not available) Very sleek and non-descript as well. The button presses a firm and you can still feel the 'click'. Don't look further, this is the case you want.

My only recommendation would be to offer different colors other than black. While i prefer black, there's probably others who have passed on it for that reason.
