    Bought this case 7 months ago. Plastic turned brown probably from the UV rays from the sun and the plastic. After awhile it became loose fitting like 0.5 mm gap on the top. Picture is from the new case I purchased and the 7 month old one. Honestly its a great case for the first 6 months. I really wanted a clear case to show off the phone without compromising to a hard plastic case. This fits the bill and its great when it's "new". For 9$ I'll just re-buy it every year.

    I'd like to update my review about this case. After applying said screen protector (linked below) without a case for 24 hours and then putting this case on, the screen protector DOES NOT peel off. This case works wonderfully!

    Pros:
    1. The case makes the phone MUCH less slippery and less prone getting the glass back smudged up.
    2. It makes the phone much easier to pick up when it's laying flat.
    3. It doesn't add a lot of thickness to the profile of the phone.

    Cons:
    1. The buttons are much harder to press than if the device was naked (understandably so). Although, I have used clear cases in the past (e.g. on my Nexus 6P and pressing buttons was much easier on that.
    2. I'm using the Yootech screen protector      Galaxy S8+ Screen Protector [Galaxy S8 Plus Screen Protector][Not Glass], Yootech Galaxy S8 Plus Wet Applied Screen Protector BUBLLE-FREE[1-Pack ] and this case doesn't work well with it. The sides of the protector keep peeling off.

    I kind of collect phone cases, and I firmly believe that you should have a good one to protect your smartphone, and those who don't definitely are courting disaster, because eventually you WILL drop it.

    For the GS8+ I currently have 6 and my daily would be my leather Pierre Cardin case. Nice, but doesn't exactly provide the best protection...in fact it provides just barely ANY protection at all, even though I really LOVE the case and how slim it is. It didn't take long before I realized I really needed something slim but much better at protecting my phone. I looked around and decided on the Spigen Liquid Crystal model. It didn't take long to realize I had made a really good decision.

    Not only does it protect really well, it is very slim (just barely bigger than my leather case which protected very little) and when it says, See-Thru, they MEAN it. Finally I can see the silver accent on the back on my phone without obstruction whatsoever. It even came with a Zeiss cleaning pad which was a very nice gesture. It fit PERFECTLY (as I would expect a good Spigen case to do) and I am thrilled to say that not only does it cover the back and all 4 sides, the buttons are easy to depress, unlike some silicone cases I've bought where you really and I DO mean REALLY have to press hard in order for your phone to register that you were pressing anything. Always a pain in my side. But Spigen has obviously thought of the consumer and made this case one that is simple to operate without compromising the ease of use that comes naturally with the device by itself uncovered. SMART. The headphone jack, power, microphone and speaker are all left unobstructed, which is another win in my book, even though I pretty much expected all of that anyway.

    Not much more to say, either. For the price, honestly, you just cannot beat this case. Oh yeah, one more thing: on previous silicone cases, it was pliable, but also tended to attract lint in my pockets like glue. So far, the exterior is smooth, but plenty of grip to it so that you won't feel like your phone will drop (yet another plus) and plenty of protection which I am fervently hoping I never have to put to the test.

    All in all, a solid case that protects without bulking up the phone and allowing the sheer beauty of the amazing design show through. Oh, and the price! What an amazing deal! I wouldn't hesitate buying another one and I recommend this highly.

    Spigen has never let me down. I first started using Spigen when I had my HTC One M8 clear case and I absolutely loved the look. I never understood why people would purchase a phone case that will hide the design of the phone. I understand that it is for the protection for accidental drops but your phone that you carry is also a status symbol. If you have the newest and greatest phone, you would want people around you to see what phone it is. If that was not the case, getting a cheap phone with the acceptable software and functions is all you need. I am the former, I always upgrade my phone to what I feel is the best out there (I’m a Samsung guy, never Apple) and I want my case to show the design and aesthetics of the S8+ and that’s why I always go with Spigen. As in the case with my One M8, the case is perfectly fitted and the button cut outs are perfect. I am very careful with my phone and the one I did drop it, the corners of the case absorbed the blow and left my phone unharmed. The transparency of the case is crystal clear so my wrap on my phone is still perfectly visible. Definitely a great all around case for looks and protection.

    Ok, so I've bought other cases and keep coming back to this style and brand. Why? Because I've really found the others, as tough as they claim to be are fragile in Canadian winters. With the new phones being dust and water resistant, why do we need anything other than a good fitting and casual drop from average height case?

    This case fits so well, I also use one on my Note 9. They don't add excessive bulk like the other 50$ cases and the buttons remain tactile. The look is clean and my D-Brand skins shine through nicely.

    People claim you get what you pay for... well sometimes you pay more $ for less protection and you lose out on the thin sexy design factor you originally bought the phone for.

    These cases work fine with fast wireless charging pads too! The cut out for the headphone jacks are gracious and ample, no matter the style plug you put in. The air pockets on the corners really do protect, which is where my phone tends to fall on 98% of the time.

    I don't think I'll switch to any other brand now my flagship devices are housed in them. The actually fit decent with glass or plastic screen protectors (I recommend the ones designed for cases on.)

    There is just the right amount of overlap on the screen sides to protect and the edges after the bezels are raised just right to shield the screen when face down.

    So I love these cases and I recommend them for your Samsung devices.
