First time I got the box it was beat up and the gloves inside were moldy. I got a second box thinking maybe it was just a one time thing as I have gotten these gloves before and they were fine. Unfortunately the second box is beat up as well and reaked heavily of mold. I'm sending them back and not buying these again for some time at least.
So I ordered these gloves not reading the description carefully. I am definitely one who wears Nitrile gloves so when these arrived I was surprised at the fit and texture. After going back to the advertisement apparently these are a Nitrile and Vinyl blend. So they still have that stiffness if Vinyl gloves which makes sense because they feel alot like Vinyl gloves without the powder. Now I hate Vinyl gloves but I will say if you were to compare these with regular Vinyl gloves they are definitely better. I believe the durability is good but they are slightly thinner than Vinyl. For me that helps when I touch things. They are easier to take on and off for reuse in case you needed your bare hand for a second. Its doesnt roll up and stick to your hand like regular latex or Nitrile gloves when removing. These are great for my mother who has arthritis in her hands and needs that stiffness when putting on and taking off. Havent seen any liquid seeping through so they seem pretty reliable so far. Hope this helps!
This is my second order of these gloves. They have changed the formula and the gloves are much thinner and shorter. I pulled one out of the box and it was torn. I didn’t check the price but I will be buying another brand next time. I do not know why they chose to have a cheaper product. But it annoyed me.
I had a lot of large size gloves, but they are just a little too small for hubby, so saw these at a great price, and decided to give them a try. They fit him beautifully, and appear to be quite durable. We do add some powder or cornstarch to our hands before putting them on, to facilitate comfort and removal. They were shipped quickly, packaged appropriately, and arrived safely. I would recommend them. The color, too, is a hoot! It is easy to tell which ones are the larger size, as the rest of my cheapie, nondurable white gloves, are white.
When I did a search on Amazon for "Disposable Nitrile Gloves, size Medium" these gloves were one of the options shown. Unfortunately, the description of the gloves did not make it clear that "synthetic" nitrile is NOTHING like "real" nitrile. I wear disposable gloves frequently for medical uses, but also for lots of "domestic" activities, like cleaning the dog's ears, the stove, the bathroom, etc. With disposable glove availability limited during the pandemic & prices significantly higher, the slightly lower price was a factor in my decision to buy these particular gloves - WHAT a disappointment! Real nitrile gloves are soft & stretchy, easy to put on & comfortable to wear, These "synthetic" nitrile gloves are difficult to put on & frequently tear in the process of sliding your hand into the glove; the only way I've been able to avoid tearing the gloves is to "pre-stretch" the material before putting them on - carefully - because the gloves become "baggy" if you "over-stretch." The semi-transparent material has a "slick" & sort of slimy feel, which I find unpleasant, and my hands become sweaty almost as soon as I put on the gloves, adding to the "slimy" experience. Overall, these gloves feel like plastic or vinyl - nothing like nitrile. It seems to me a "synthetic" material should at least be essentially similar to the "real" material. That's not the case with these gloves, so I'll be returning them & ordering real nitrile gloves.
I buy nitrile gloves all the time to use with resin or when cleaning the bathroom, etc. around the house. I always buy medium size. When I opened the Amazon box (Amazon box was not damaged) the box to these gloves were smash with gloves falling out the side. When I went to try them on they were oversized, very stiff, and they smell terrible. The (plasticy?) scent will stay on your hands. They are thicker than other brands, which could be a plus for some? Not what I was looking for though. Will I use them up? Yes. Would a repurchase? Definitely not.
I like these gloves because they are: (1) synthetic, (2) nitrile, and (3) disposable. Honestly, there's not much to say here, except that I use these during pepper growing season to prepare and make hot sauce and not once have I burned my fingers. They are high quality and do what they are designed to do. You could use these to prepare raw meats if that bothers you. The price was a bit high, but I purchased these during the height of the pandemic. Still, I don't regret it, and will buy another box once mine is depleted.
