Product Description

Get perfect, even slices with the easy-to-use Adjust-A-Slice Mandoline from Progressive International--perfect for carrots, onions, zucchini, tomatoes, kiwi and apples. The wider slicing surface accommodates larger fruits and vegetables, and the angled blade provides more efficient slicing. You get three thickness options--thin, medium, and thick. Simply set the blade to the desired thickness with the slicing knob, then either hold the slicer at an angle to your cutting board or rest it over a bowl. Non-skid base and ridges keep the mandoline slicer stable on either a flat surface or a bowl's rim. Secure your food with the included finger guard to slide it over the blade to get perfectly sized slices. Slide button down to lock for safe cleaning and storage. Dishwasher safe, but hand wash for best results.

For a few months now I’ve been huge on changing my life and what I eat. This amazing app called Noom has a bunch of articles and reason they one of the articles was to unprocessed your diet. Now I’m looking for ways to make things that I love at home and this week’s project was potato chips!Works fantastic! I made sure to use the hand guard, no issues at all. Buy this!

Before I say anything else, PLEASE use the safety tool that comes with it. I thought I'd do just a few passes with a potato & then use it, but this thing cuts so fast & efficiently that I got a pretty deep cut on the #2 setting, and my thumb bled & bled. I wondered if I'd have to go to urgent care, but I finally got the bleeding to stop. I see several people posted pictures of their wounds. The blade is SHARP!

Now, about the slicer: it works WAY better than I imagined! It sliced the potatoes so thinly that I could see thru them. Try this with a knife. You could never cut as uniformly & quickly as this tool cuts. I will try making potato chips for my 2nd dish. So glad I found this wonderful tool. Should've had it years ago.

I really love this slicer. It is easy to use. very sharp. The first thing I made was scallions and the sliced potatoes were perfect. Like the picture they show, you just put on top of a bowl of any kind and the slices go right in the bowl. No mess. It is very handy. So glad I bought it. You can't go wrong here.

The first time I used it, I cut both my thumbs. With one thumb I took a significant chunk of skin off. Totally my fault, and after reading the instructions I have used it repeatedly with no incident. I bought some of the cut-proof safety gloves to wear while using this and would suggest to anyone they buy both together. I also use the safety guard while wearing the glove on the hand holding the vegetable. Not taking any chances on my digits while being close to that razor-sharp blade. I do mean sharp. Sharp as it could be.
Great price, is easy to use and does the job. Just be sure to read the safety instructions.
