    the solid faux leather sheets cut and weed like a dream using the fine point blade and "faux leather; paper thin" with Cricut. the chunky glitter sheets took 3 passes, not worth the mess it made. the animal print sheets would probably work best with a heavier card stock setting as the top layer is pretty tough to cut. overall, really like the kit and would recommend to familiarize yourself with settings and for cute little crafts!

    For the price this is a great starter kit. The tools alone are worth it. The sheets of vinyl fabric (not leather obviously, nor would I consider this "faux leather" as it is vinyl fabric - my background is in upholstery) are roughly 6" x 8" and 30 pieces. Yes, there is a smell to them but that is normal for vinyl fabric and will eventually off-gas (smell will go away). The three chunkier glitter sheets are stiffer but still pliable and should have no issues. The rest of them are very soft as a vinyl fabric is expected to be. I also like that it comes with a simple storage bag. The earring pieces seem to be of same quality as any major craft store. I only found 3 pieces that I'm tossing (refer to pictures). It's expected to have some random non usable in with the mix. I would definitely recommend this kit to another and I would purchase again.

    I have not been able to figure out a good setting for the chunky glitter. So I’ve been making vinyl stencils and cutting by hand.

    Everything else I made a custom material and increased the pressure to 300, 1x with the normal blade. Tape down all edges and you shouldn’t have too many issues.

    Standard or strong grip may works best. Wipe the fabric residue off with a baby wipe after a few cuts. And keep your blade clean.
