The design of the case and the carbon fiber style backing is very attractive and feels great to the touch. The rounded edges make holding the phone very comfortable. This case is obviously not as heavy duty as an Otter Box or Lifeproof, but it's plenty durable for every day use.

Overall this is a good quality case. Although it's made of TPU, the sides feel sturdy enough to withstand a fall. Does add bulk to the phone and the phone feels heavy but I believe the protection it offers might be worth the added bulk. Sides are shiny so you will see finger marks. No issues with grip, though. The textured back also feels nice. The camera is also well protected. Wireless charging worked for me.

I usually buy a hard case for my phones and this is the closest I found after searching a lot on Amazon.

Today I unfortunately left my phone on the roof of my car while loading groceries. I drove about 2 miles down the road when I noticed an object fly off the back of my vehicle. I got home searched for my phone and noticed it was missing. I pinged it’s location and had a sinking feeling that, that object was my phone. I immediately drove back to said location to find that my phone bounced to far right of the road (2 lanes) faced down. In a worry I picked it up to find nothing wrong with the phone (not a shatter or crack) just a scratch on the case protector and a missing gunmetal case frame. Will definitely be buying another case.

Slippery case, a bit flimsy in the hot weather

I bought this for my iPhone XR. It has a hard ring on the outside that secures a softer rubber-like case that hugs your phone. The hard ring is a pretty flimsy plastic but it protects the corners. I've noticed in the hot weather that the rubber begins to balloon out and has an airpocket in the back. This is fine though it adds to the flimsy aspect of the case.

My main complaint is that the case rubber back has a texture on it but in no way makes it more tactile. The case is very slippery in the back. My phone has slipped out of my hands on a few occasions because the case had no grip and the phone is relatively large, as all smart phones are unfortunately these days.

About 1 year in, I just replaced this case with a higher-quality one piece textured rubber-like Speck that stays in my hand securely. Happy with that purchase.

I cared more about keeping it safe so I figured there is no way I would be able to get something nice looking as well. I was so surprised when I found this case. It looks so nice and I’ve already dropped my phone numerous times, on concrete, and it’s all still in perfect condition. I would recommend this one to everyone! Don’t waste your money on the high dollar competitors when you can get the same protection for way less and it is stylish.
