TIP #1:

THE LONGER THE BETTER – The longer the hair, the better the result (The hair should be at least 2-3mm long to ensure a good adhesion on the wax)

TIP #2:

THE FASTER THE BETTER – The faster you remove the wax strips, the better the hair removal result will be

APPLY FORWARD, REMOVE BACKWARD – The wax strip should be applied onto the hair in the direction of the hair growth, but removed in the opposite direction

To use the Avashine Wax Strips:

  1. Make sure the hair removal area is clean and dry
  2. Warm up the wax strip with your hands (No microwave or wax warmer needed!)
  3. Separate the wax strips to expose the waxed sides
  4. Apply strip (After cutting to size if applying to a smaller area) ALONG the DIRECTION of hair growth. Smooth the strip down with your hands to ensure good contact
  5. Remove the strip briskly in the OPPOSITE DIRECTION of hair growth. Pulling the skin tight with your other hand will enhance the effect.
  6. Remove any residual wax with the included paraffin oil. Please note that the wax is not water soluble, so you will not be able to wash it off with water.
  7. Apply repairing solution(repair fluid must be purchased separately).

To use the Avashine Wax Strips:

I have very sensitive skin and have tried many types of wax strips. These are by far the best for sensitive skin, I have never broken out from them. I even use them for my upper lip and side burns too with amazing, soft results and very little residue. I've been suing these for years. Would highly recommend!

I suffer from embarrassing and irritating razor bumps along my bikini line whenever I shave. It was to the point where I didn’t want to be seen in public in a bathing suit. I decided to try these wax strips last summer and I’m really glad I did!
I want to start by saying I have never been professionally waxed down there, so I do not have that to compare it to.
Pain- of course there is some pain, but I didn’t find it bad at all. I would say on a pain scale it was probably a 2 out of 10. The plucking the stray hairs was the most painful part.
Effectiveness- I exfoliated first with a sugar scrub and allowed the area to dry. I then cut each strip to the size I needed so the product would last longer. I followed other reviewers’ advice and heated them with a hairdryer for about 30 seconds before use. Each strip removed most of the hair but I still had to pluck some stray hairs. You do have to follow the directions and pull against the direction of the hair which can be tricky in some areas. I found some areas where the hair seemed to grow in multiple directions it was tough to remove much hair, but for the most part it worked. My results lasted a few weeks before I had to wax again. The best part, I had very few razor bumps and I felt confident going out in my bathing suit the rest of the summer. I will definitely purchase again!

I used these for a self-Brazilian and I am impressed. If you’re reading this then, most likely, it’s because you are about to embark on the self-Brazilian/bikini journey, and let me commend you. Reach out your right hand, fold it over your left shoulder and pat yourself on the back. Your efforts alone reveal you to be above average. Congrats! Now to the details. I’ve had an average of 30 professional Brazilians in my lifetime. Doing this yourself takes a certain can do and no quit attitude. Not because it hurts. You know it hurts, briefly. But because it’s tough to convince yourself to rip that strip! So for that reason, I advise you cut the strips into fours. They’re much easier to manage and you won’t quit halfway through a pull. I agree on warming over a candle. I also feel that a hot shower and exfoliation right before helps ready the hair follicle for an easier departure. Some strips didn’t get much hair so I reheated them and used them a second time to better results. Never more than twice. Use a mirror for the farther below area and stretch! Don’t be afraid to break it up into two days—you’ll get some wax that needs to be cleaned off so you might as well take a break. Speaking of cleaning at the end, the provided wipes work great. They seem dry but they have oil on them and work wonders. I put cortisone on at the end because I have very sensitive skin and I didn’t get any irritation. And embrace your tweezers for easy finishing touches. One Brazilian took half the package. Way to go sexy people.

I tried them u see my arms, lower legs and upper legs and arms and it didn’t remove anything worth the effort. I have fine and very soft hair so if you have coarse hair I can imagine they’d be even less effective. I’ve used similar strips for years with no issues so I doubt it’s user error. Disappointing because I’m leaving on a cruise and wanted to be able to not shave and now I have to run to the store and buy more products. I included pictures of one of my arms to show that the strip didn’t remove very much hair at all and I’ll still need to shave them because it’s patchy.

They're alright for wax strips. For context, I have sensitive skin and my leg hair grows back quickly and thickly. I don't like shaving because it causes red bumps. These wax strips work... kind of. They don't really adhere that well. They did remove about 60% of the hair on my legs in one pass. Not amazing results but alright I guess. I also had to go through more than half the package for the lower half of my two legs. I probably won't repurchase them.

I think they are not bad quality just didn’t work as well for me as I’d hoped. I may try them again to see if I can make them work any better but not sure!

I wouldn’t recommend using these if you have sensitive skin. I tried one strip on my leg and it burned and caused red bumps so I stopped using them. I suggest getting a wax melter instead if you plan to wax at home.
If you do get these, I agree with the reviews that say to warm the strips over a candle before using them - it works better than rubbing them between your hands. I also cut them into smaller strips rather than trying to use the full wax sheet. Another thing I’ll say is don’t use these for bikini or brazilian waxes.This type of wax isn’t meant for that area. Again, I would use a wax melter or go to a wax studio.

Anything would be better than my long, glossy Corona-virus-moustache. I could literally feel it blowing in the wind. It was mega.
Instructions really easy to follow - even for someone like me who goes to salons for everything.
Let me make this completely clear, I have zero beauty DIY skills.
To obliterate my furry lip I just cut a 1cm strip off, cut that in half so I had 2x 1cm x 3cm strips.
This gave me 4 x waxing strips.
I rubbed a strip between my hands to warm it up before applying it and whipping it off.
Top Tip: I safely stowed the other unpeeled strip in my bra to save me 30 seconds...
The 4 waxing strips produced by 1cm strip obliterated it....my other half had offered to get his hedge trimmer out for me but thankfully this is no longer necessary.
I know it seems expensive but this works out at about 150 tache waxes so is an utter, utter bargain.
