I have used this steam mop for my linoleum floors and counter tops so far. The large floor pad is very easy to install, just place it on the floor and set the steamer on top of it. I let enough steam build up to wet the pad and then it did not roll up for me. Went through all three pads the first time I cleaned my floor, swapped pads half way through the first pass and then used the third pad to go over a second time, all three were black. They are easy to wash in the washer.
Used the hand held pad to deep clean my counter tops, moved everything off the counter first and it worked great. The steam will not come out till you put your hand in the handle. To get into the corner, my wife held the steamer while I scrubbed the counter.
Installing and removing the floor pad could not be easier: just place the pad on the floor and set the steamer on top of it. To remove the pad I just place my foot on one corner and lift the steamer, pad comes right off; easy pesy.

Love this new steam mop. I had the original H2O mop from years ago. This has a much more controlled steam release. The floor doesn't get so wet. It's lighter and easier to use . It stands up on it's own. Heats a lot faster. I also love how you can also quickly use it as a hand steamer. The quick changing velcro pads are great.
I bought this because of the carpet cleaner attachment. It really does work well for surface and spot cleaning.

This is not very helpful except to just steam to sanitize a carpet. It will not in any way steam clean, as there is no way to suck the water and dirt away. This is OK for steaming a carpet to try to kill fleas or flea eggs or to sanitize it. The steamer doesn't click into it, it simply sits on top of this carpet slide, so if you lift it at all they come apart. I used some self adhesive velcro to make straps for it to attach to my machine to keep it on.
Not something I will use that often. I love the Light n Easy steam mop, but the carpet glide doesn't turn it into a carpet steam cleaner.

Easy to use, highly recommend the rug glide if you're just wanting to steam away some germs. We had an inconsiderate guest who, knowing his feet smelled gross & that we minded smelling them (across the room & up the stairs!), went barefoot, ignoring the clean socks we'd requested he wear. And he felt he needed to pace to every corner of nearly every room on three floors. Unfortunately, he will likely do it again, so this steamer could get a lot of workouts. It did a great job, and with the disposable pads, was less work than mopping wood & vinyl and shampooing rugs on 3 floors.
