Our story
How we got our start
Ergodriven was born miles from any office. Hiking, swimming holes, and cliff-jumping created a few blisters and an important realization. Nature isn't flat. Feeling our joints articulate and stabilizing muscles activate as we traversed varied terrain really hammered home just how not flat nature is.What makes our product unique
When we teamed up with specialists well-versed in biomechanics and dug into the research, it was clear that "flat" is just too little stimulation for healthy living. So we decided to start making things less flat with the one of the spaces we occupy the most - the ground right in front of our desks. Why we love what we do
It feels so good to be working on products every single day that make people feel better. Every time we read an email from a customer, detailing how their lives have improved from working healthier, it really feels good. In our small way, we're making the world better and we're really proud of that.Product Description

Then, I invested in the Topo Mini. The Topo gave me even more flexibility in the standing position, allowing me to correct my posture, lean in natural positions, and stretch. The mat is truly anti-fatigue - you never have to stay in one position. It's comfortably padded so you're not standing on hard ground, but also firm enough so you're fully supported. The size of the Mini is perfect, and I think it should be enough for most people. When not in use, it slides right under my desk. Then when I'm ready to use it again, the bump on the back makes it easy to slide back out with my foot.
I would highly recommend this mat for anyone using a standing desk.
The Topo Mini has without a doubt allowed me to stand for longer periods, and I REALLY like the arch massage bump in the middle (again, flat feet woes). The ridges on the sides and back also let stand in a variety of different postures and use different muscle groups, which is great for avoiding fatigue and soreness from standing for long periods. I am 5'0" and the Topo Mini definitely feels like it was made for someone MY size, which is not very common in my personal experience. I can also attest to the fact that it does NOT slide AT ALL when standing on it, I even tried to get it slide while standing on it and couldn't. However without any weight on the mat, it slides very easily!
Summary:
All in all the Topo Mini is everything it is advertised to be! It IS more expensive but it delivers on quality and extra features that are, in my opinion, definitely worth the price. Also, because it's the Mini size I didn't find there to be a HUGE price disparity between other anti-fatigue mat prices.
Extra:
For anyone who doesn't want to invest hundreds of dollars into buying a standing desk, the desk in my picture can be found here: iCraze Adjustable Vented Laptop Table Laptop Computer Desk Portable Bed Tray Book Stand Multifuctional & Ergonomics Design Dual Layer Tabletop (Black) There are a lot of variations of it out there, but it is inexpensive, portable, and lightweight, so you can make any normal desk into a standing desk space as I have in my photos!

I should mention at this point that I'm 6', 180 lbs, so I'm obviously not the recommended size for the Mini mat. Even so, it beats standing on the floor and I like it much more than any flat mat I've tried. My favorite thing about the Mini is how easy it is to move and store. For comparison, the full-size Topo weighs twice as much (8 lbs vs 4). That may not sound like much, and if you're planning to stand more than sit it doesn't matter. But if like me you try to alternate sitting and standing, the Mini's ease of repositioning is a fantastic feature. It fits PERFECTLY under my desk, which always brings a smile to my face; it's just nice when things fit. :)
Finally, I'd like to address the "Sitting bad! Standing good!" movement: it's not sitting or standing per se that's the real issue. The issue is a lack of MOVEMENT. The human form was made/evolved (not looking to wade into that debate with anyone on a standing mat review) to move, and the modern human's abject lack of movement, combined with a rich diet (i.e. a surplus of fuel for bodies that barely go anywhere) is responsible for the growing disparity between lifespan and healthspan.
So don't treat the Topo (or any piece of office ergonomics) as a cure-all. Treat it as a nudge to vary your physical work routine and move around more. To that end, it's a success and I can easily recommend it. If the Mini were redesigned to include the top and bottom rails of the full-size mat, and given a firmer teardrop, it would be an easy five-star product for me. As it stands (pardon the pun), I give it four stars and that's still really good!

I had no idea I even needed this, I was pretty reluctant to spend almost a hundred bucks on a floor mat, but this thing changes the way I stand and move around at the desk. I actually didn't know I was so restless, or how much my feet and legs wanted to move around. It's great, and it really helps me with my work, I can actually focus better. I'm so impressed with the quality and the ingenuity of a mat like this. I didn't know I needed squishy but firm lumps and bumps on a floor mat to stand at different levels on. Totally worth the money. The bumps are perfectly the right amount of squish and firm, and the flat surface is plenty supportive as well. Mine doesn't slide on my hardwood floors at all.
I got the mini, and to be fair I'm fairly short (4'11"), but it's a really decent size, quite a bit bigger than I thought a mini would be, it fits perfectly under my desk and I have plenty of room to move around. Even if you're taller, I can't imagine it would hamper how you move around unless your standing stance is ridonkulously wide.
Never thought I'd rave about a floor mat, but here we are.
