The Electric Rotato Peeler is Easy To Use

  1. Center the food on the bottom food holder and press gently.
  2. Lower the upper food holder so that it grasps the food and holds it securely.
  3. Using the height adjustment level, raise the cutter arm so that is rests on top of food to be peeled.
  4. Turn ON the appliance by pressing on the red button. The skin peels off in one clean, continuous curl. The appliance will stop automatically when the cutter arm reaches the bottom.
  5. Lift upper food holder from food and raise it to the top of the support column.
  6. Grasp food and using a gentle back and forth rocking motion, remove food from bottom food holder pulling towards you.

Warning: Cutter blade and holder spike are sharp, handle with care.

Blade Changing

Extra blades are located under the unit and can be easily changed if needed.

Used for first time after receiving the last 2 days. Peeled apples day before for apple strudel and today had some potatoes that were going to go bad, so peeled all of them, put in refrigerator covered with water. Was going to buy the metal hand crank one that cores and slices apples, but I changed my mind because I have a hand cutter/corer. This is so lightweight, quick and easy to use. Worked perfect my first time.

This is a great little machine for peeling potatoes. I have arthritis in both hands, and this makes it difficult to hand peel potatoes. I was skeptical that the Starfrit would work, and was amazed to see how well it worked.
You do have to trim the top and bottom of a peeled potato, but that is a minor problem. The machine does most of the peeling. I have used the peeler twice so far to peel two 5 pound bags of potatoes. It's not hard to clean. I have only had it for a month, so I can't say how it will last over time. Right now I'm very happy with this cool device.

My father had a battery operated one many years ago but, this electric one is much better. So far loving it and don't miss peeling potatoes. You still have to peel both ends of your potatoes (tip), where the blade cant reach but, much faster and much easier and faster to make french fries, mashed potatoes, etc

This product is wonderful! I was able to peel 20 pounds of potatoes, 10 pounds of apples, and 5 pounds of sweet potatoes all in one day. The machine is easy to use, although it took me a little while to figure out how to install the new blade because I didn't focus as I pulled the old one off. Once I got it correctly, it was extremely easy. No potato or apple was perfect after use, but just a few patches had to be peeled by hand (which took just a couple seconds). This product saved my hands and spirits! Rotato is also just a fun word.
