- Reusable - Break up with the tampon aisle- forever. One Saalt Cup lasts for up to 10 years. That's more than 120 periods and replaces over 3,000 tampons and tons of waste. You don't have to work on Wall Street to recognize a great deal. Save your wallet, and your environment.
- Reliable - The OG of Cups - Wear your Saalt Cup for to 12 hours at a time, even while you're sleeping, or running a marathon, or flying to London. No matching your flow to different absorbencies or emergency tampon runs. This little menstrual cup collects as much as 3-4 tampons and never dries you out so you can have a worry free period.
- Comfortable - Saalt Cup is impossibly soft and flexible. The proprietary bulb shape makes it the easiest cup to insert and open, ensuring a seal so comfortable that you forget it's there. It also means you have a consistent leak free and odor free period. The indented stem is the most flexible and comfortable on the market. No abrasive ridges to irritate your skin.
- Natural and Safe- Made in the USA with 100% medical-grade silicone, the Saalt Cup is affordable premium period care. Our cup is naturally hypoallergenic, non-toxic and BPA and latex free. Unlike tampons it maintains your unique pH and will never dry you out, leave fibrous residue or cause micro tearing which can increase the risk of infection and TSS.
- Saalt Gives - For every purchase, Saalt helps provide improved period care and educational opportunities to women and girls in need. So your Saalt Cup is good for you and for her.

I bought the 2 pack because I didn't know which size would be best for me and I thought the small one would work, but in the end I ended up using the larger one. I tend to have an active lifestyle so menstrual cups did the trick for me. Honestly it's probably one of the best investments I've ever made regarding periods.
SAALT CUPS vs. PEACHLIFE (Firm)
SIZE: Peachlife is between the small and large Saalt in size. If you've bought the 2-pack Saalt and find the small too small and the large too big, Peachlife may be your goldilocks. Peachlife is also narrower in shape and doesn't have a lip on the top of the cup. However, the Peachlife's ring is noticeable if your cup travels or sits low.
FIRMNESS: Even Peachlife's "Firm" cup is noticeably softer and less resistant than both the small and large Saalt. Peachlife's products bend under pressure more easily and are generally thought of as a "softer/bendable" cup in terms of firmness. Because I have firmer muscles, I struggled getting Peachlife to open after inserting it and couldn't find a reliable trick even after a year. Saalt is considered "medium" firmness as cups go.
STEM: Peachlife's cups have a ring stem. This made me feel more comfortable when I was just starting out because I worried about the cup getting stuck and not being able to grab it with how slippery everything is. Later, I found out **you don't pull the stem to remove a cup!** It's not a tampon. The stem is just for an assist in wiggling the cup down until you can grab the base. Once I learned that this type of removal is comfier, I was more annoyed with the Peachlife stem bc the ring is quite large -- it often slipped out and I could feel it. I'm more comfortable with the Saalt's flexible stem. It's not as sturdy and the lines on it feel like weak points, but the grip is better on the base. Overall I like the Saalt style better. When the Saalt stem slips out, it's not as uncomfortable and I can always trim the stem if it ever gets too bothersome.
COMFORT: This is completely subjective, but I find the Saalt cups more comfortable. The stem doesn't bother me as much. Since I walk/hike often and have stronger muscles, the firmness makes the Saalt cups easier to insert. I use the C-fold for the Saalt (it doesn't open with the punch-down for me). I have experienced mild cramps with both my Saalts and the Peachlife, but I also feel cramps without them (I can end all cramps with Advil if it gets too bad). The cup that triggers the least amount of cramping for me is the smaller Saalt. All these cups have slightly raised lettering on the exterior, which may not be comfortable if you're more sensitive to that sort of thing.
OVERALL: Both Peachlife and Saalt are good cups. They're just different. In using the Peachlife, I found that I had to spend more time adjusting after insertion, and I wasn't always sure that it was in properly. In the beginning, I could often feel the cup up there. I attribute much of this to it being my first cup and user error. Now that I have a better idea of what to do (thanks to training myself with Peachlife) the Saalt is a better fit for me and gives me more peace of mind. Still, I think Peachlife would be good for someone who needs a very soft or narrower cup. I've never experienced substantial leaks with any of them, but I still use pads as backup. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask. Choosing a cup is tough. There's a website and YouTube Channel called "Put A Cup In It" that was extremely helpful through my learning process -- I highly recommend it! (They won't review Peachlife products though).

It may seem daunting to put one of these in, but I told my self that I put tampons in so this is basically the same thing when you squish it to insert it (FYI - I like the "7 fold" that the instructions describe to insert easily). After adjusting it a bit, I couldn't feel a thing - so comfortable to wear! Even better, I had no leakage with it after wearing it for the max 12 hours!
As for cleaning, I use a gentle soap like CeraVe with hot water until it's clean. Then re-insert it or put in the cloth pouch it came with. After using it for a full cycle, I sanitized it with my "other cup brand" steaming sanitizer machine. That meant I didn't have to boil it in a cooking pot of mine. There also are options to buy silicone menstrual cup cups (yes, cup cups) that you can fill with water and your menstrual cup and microwave it so that you don't have to use a pan to boil it and it's more discrete. Essentially there are numerous ways to make sure that your cup is clean, so hygiene shouldn't ever be a concern.
Also PS I would definitely recommend reusable cloth menstrual pads as liners too. I worry about leaks (even though it doesn't appear like I need to with this cup), and these are a much more eco method to eliminate menstrual related waste.
I love my cup and wish I had done it sooner! 10/10

For those who are newer to menstrual cups, I recommend purchasing reusable liners as well as a back up.
