I was a little hesitant to buy this (and the two matching end tables) because of the bad reviews. But they were the perfect size and I really wanted something mid century, so I did it anyway. I’m glad I did! I don’t see any problems with the way the stain was applied, and it is true to the color in the photo. The only assembly required is to screw on the legs. It’s nice to have furniture that is not made of particle board - these are solid wood and seem like they will last. Make sure you check the dimensions before buying, this is not a long double dresser.

So where to begin with this thing. Let's start with the good- it does look like it does in the picture. It looks pretty nice up close. Unfortunately it's tiny. The whole thing is small but the drawers are even smaller than you'd expect. You could fit like 10 shirts max in the entire dresser- but you wouldn't want to store anything in this dresser because it smells like crap. It has a very strange, sourish chemical smell to it.

It's certainly not a wood smell.. because contrary to the items description of being "real wood".. the entire dresser is made of some kind of synthetic wood like particle board. The only part of this dresser that is solid wood are the 4 legs.

So to summarize- this product is falsely advertised as being real wood- it's not. It's crappy, fake wood material. It's tiny. And it smells horrible.

Cute, but leg came damaged and paint job needs help. Solid wood but seems to be low quality rough pieces. Perfect size but was a little disappointed in the craftsmanship. Mostly put together when arrives, so set up was just attaching legs, which one did not have good holes so could not tighten it.

It’s not super high-quality wood, but it’s well-constructed and arrived carefully packaged with no scratches or dings. Along with the other reviewers, I was delighted that the only assembly was screwing on four legs! Arrived in 24 hours, and now my guests will have a place to put their stuff when they visit!! You’d pay twice this at a furniture shop. I’m very pleased with this purchase!

I bought a few of these mid-century style pieces from Decor Therapy, and I've seen a few reviews calling these solid wood; they are not. They are some sort of engineered fiberboard with a wood veneer over the top. I'm certain of this because I accidentally knocked a chunk off the corner while moving recently, nothing a bit of wood glue couldn't cure. That said, these are an excellent value for the price. They look and feel like wood, not that smooth plastic laminate that some stuff on here is made of. The color is a bit warmer and reddish than a true "walnut" finish, so don't expect matchy-matchy if you already have walnut furniture. Other than that, these are great budget-friendly pieces.

Ok- like other reviews are saying, be sure to check the measurements. I was looking for something smaller because it was going to go in my bathroom and this is the perfect size and perfect fit. It’ll be great for all my lotions, toiletries make up etc. very easy to put together, all you do is screw in the legs. It looks like it’s pretty good quality wood and I am very impressed so far, I hope it holds up but as it stands now, I love it. Ignore the mess in my pic, we are still remodeling the bathroom
