Great gift for a Star Wars fan. My brother likes Darth Vader stuff aesthetically, so this was perfect as a birthday gift for him now that he's been testing out cooking a lot more. He uses it all the time for stuff and recently cooked ribs in it. Since he's still using it all the time, I would assume its easy to clean since he's definitely a low maintenance type of guy. The all black look of this is sharp looking too, so I would assume any of the Star Wars ones would be great gifts.

The only problem with this instant pot is my stubbornness of not buying it before. My friend, a picky former chef, has been recommending it for over a year now but I thought that it was too much for my tiny kitchen.
I finally decided to give it a try for soup season and honestly I don’t think there’s a product in my kitchen I love more. I have been eating soup almost every night and it’s always delicious (although with different levels of effort/ prep time). I also love the design. It feeds my geek side but it’s very elegant.

I love my instapot. We cook in it frequently. That said the three main functions you want are pressure cooker, sauté and slow cooker. The slow cooker on high is basically a low-med on a “normal” slow cooker. I don’t understand the decision to do this as it definitely has the capability to be hotter.

Received the pot and like many others, it was badly dented. The dent went right under the control panel so I didn't want to test the unit for safety reasons. Very poor packaging and care from Instant Pot. Disappointed.
