I bought these suitcases a couple years back as my job involves a lot of travel and I wanted something with a good reputation that I wouldn't have to replace in a few months let alone a year or so.
I'm happy to report these things have held up, they've been rolled, dragged, dropped, scraped, kicked, everything short of run over and they're still rolling smooth and resilient as ever.
I go through many airports through the US, local and international, and the way they treat your bags varies greatly based on time of year, location, staff, all that jazz. These bags still look brand new and hold everything I need for a short or long trip, there's no worry about the zippers coming loose and it jus lt feels very secure when its all zipped up. You won't regret these whether you need to use them every few days or every few years, it's worth the purchase.

Hace una semana recibí las maletas, son 2: una de 24", y dentro de esta venía la maleta de 21"; el material se ve bien, la textura se ve ligeramente corrugada, que podría ocultar rayones; las llantas no se ven mal; podrían ser más resistentes (como otra maleta Samsonite que tengo); comparto fotos de la maleta pequeña que tiene un puerto USB y dentro trae una bolsita donde se coloca la batería; para cargar el celular o el iPad.La califiqué con 4 estrellas porque aún no han pasado la prueba del fuego en los aeropuertos (donde ya me han dañado otras maletas).Sin embargo, cuando viajo las documento y para protegerlas, las envuelvo en un film resistente para protegerlas.————————————————————A week ago I received the suitcases, there are 2 of them: one of 24", and inside this came the 21" suitcase; the material looks good, the texture looks slightly corrugated, which could hide scratches; the tires do not look bad; they could be more resistant (like another Samsonite suitcase I have); I share photos of the small suitcase that has a USB port and inside has a pouch where the battery is placed; to charge the cell phone or iPad.I rated it with 4 stars because they have not yet passed the test of fire at airports (where other suitcases have already been damaged).However, when I travel, I don’t carry them with me inside the airplane, I prefer to document them and to protect them, I wrap them in heavy duty film to protect them.

I’ve used all three suitcases since I got them earlier this summer. Used the smallest as a carryon for a small trip. It did great. No complaints! Took the medium size to Michigan with me for a week vacation. Also sturdy and did great. Took the largest size to Europe with me and it was awesome. Really handled bumpy terrain well. The only problem I had was when i got it from baggage claim and they had manhandled it to the point where it caved in on itself and it was really difficult to pry it open. But I finally did. They all store nice together. Lots of space and pockets.

The Samsonite Centric 2 Hardside Expandable Luggage with Spinner Wheels (Black) 2 Piece Set has been on 3 trips now with me, and the only wear that's visible are a few scuffs on the exterior of the hardside suitcases. This 2 piece set comes with a 24 inch suitcase and a 20 inch suitcase. The 24 inch suitcase has been through airport baggage checks/transport, which is where the scuffs came from. Although there are some surface scuffs to the suitcases, my belongings on the inside have been undamaged thus far.
Pros:
* 20 inch suitcase fits in the 24 inch suitcase for easy storage when not in use.
* 20 inch suitcase fit 4 days worth of clothing and shoes. Could fit more when expanded.
* 24 inch suitcase fit 7 days worth of clothing and shoes. Could fit more when expanded.
* 24 inch has TSA lock
* 20 inch has USB-A port on exterior for easy device charging via battery pack (not included).
* Both suitcases are durable, and have withstood airport baggage check/transport.
* The storage sleeve for the battery pack can accommodate battery packs as large as 6 inches long by 4 inches wide, but it would be a very tight fit depending upon the thickness of the battery pack.
Cons:
* The retractable handles can be forced out of their locking positions back into a closed position with some force. This isn't a deal breaker for me, but caught me off guard the few times it did it in the airport. I recommend not pushing these suitcases and only pull them to help prevent this issue.
Overall, this 2 piece luggage set from Samsonite has been great for me! I was surprised that my size 12 shoes fit horizontally in the 20 inch suitcase. The USB-A charging port is very handy in the airport when you can't get to an electrical outlet. Please note: The rechargeable battery pack in the pictures does not come with this set! Make sure your battery pack has a USB-A output port to connect to the USB-A cord in the suitcase. I highly recommend this set to all types of travelers.
