When I first set up my Netatmo weather station I was very pleased. I would update temperature, humidity, etc. even 12 minutes. I was impressed enough that I bought an additional indoor module (this item) and then a second one. I also added the rain and wind (anemometer). It the last year or so I have repeated periods when I get no updates from the weather station. It can go for over an hour, even 2 hours. I do not find it useful to know what the temperature was over an hour ago. In the summer I want to know in the evenings when it has cooled down enough that I can turn off the air conditioner and open my windows. Conveniently that seems to be when I get no updates. The standard answer from tech support is that there is a server issue and they are working on it. I cannot recommend this product (not at the price here).

I have been using Netatmo additional modules for almost 2 years now. Everything Netatmo just works for me and the value is the 100% reliability, great software for both a web browser and for me as an Android app (I don't have an Apple phone). I have contacted support for a problem I had on my old ISP and they quickly resolved the problem but on my new ISP with a new router I didn't have to do anything everything just magically works.

The connectivity with IFTTT and SmartThings is really useful and in fact I couple this with a Belkim WeMo to control a heater in my sons bedroom to keep his bedroom in a 1 degree temperature range (saves power too)!

There is nothing I can say that I don't like about Netatmo devices, maybe price may be an issue, you can find cheaper ways to do this, but the software is so important that more expensive hardware is totally worth it for me.

Have had the main module indoor/outdoor for a while and added a second indoor module to monitor my home office on a different floor. Pairing is quite simple and worked without issue. Sensitivity and accuracy seem to be spot on but I don't know that I'd rely on it to protect equipment or similar usages. For casual monitoring of comfort with simple alerts it works great and fits well with the surroundings. The one thing I would ask in the future is to be able to collect and monitor the data locally as well as the apps/web.

I installed the original indoor station and outdoor module without a problem. They work great! So, I purchased the Additional Module (AM) to install in my bedroom area. It installed easy and supplies a temperature reading as advertised. Unfortunately, the CO2 reading has remained at "0" ppm since installation while the living room module shows varying readings throughout the day. Does it take a period of time to calibrate? Do I have to do it manually? Should it not work out of the box?

I have not been able to get an answer from Netatmo support so I'll have to assume I received a bad unit and they don't care. Back to Amazon it goes! If this feature worked as advertised, I would have given the AM a much higher rating. If anyone knows how to fix this, let me know.

This is a long awaited addition to the Netatmo system.

Ever since we got a Netatmo, we wanted to be able to monitor conditions in another part of the house. We have the base station downstairs, so wanted to see how the upstairs was - in our toddler's room, in particular.

After getting this, hooking it up was a snap. Just follow the atteched instructions.

Once you get it linked into your system, the interface in the Netatmo app (on Apple devices, at least) updates and allows you to change between the different stations with ease. This station does everything that the base station does, with the exception of sound pollution (i.e. noise level) monitoring. I do wish it had this as well, but all in all, it is no big deal.

This station used batteries and does not plug in. I wish it had the option of plugging in as well, but we'lls see how long the batteries last. The outdoor station and outdoor rain gauge are still going strong, so I expect this to last a while.

If you have the Netatmo base station, this is a worthwhile addition. If you want to add the max # of stations (up to 3 more), it can get pricy though. This is an expensive weather system in general, but it has a great interface and alert system, so I high recommend it.

The product seemed to work well enough for a while except the smaller outdoor sensor stopped working. New batteries didn't help. I have more money than time, and I wasted enough time trying to get the old sensor to work, so I tried to just order a replacement outdoor sensor and not fuss with any warranty or replacement. The small Netatmo sensor on Amazon labeled simply "Additional Module" looks exactly like what I wanted. I get it and find the box is labeled "indoor" sensor. I don't need a stupid additional indoor sensor. I have a million things that already take the indoor temp. i need an outdoor temperature sensor. Nowhere on Amazon does it exist. Even on the Netatmo website, it only seems to be packaged with an entire additional NEtatmo with the unnecessary home base.

I WANTED to give them MORE MONEY, to replace one of their products that broke. But they don't even make a replacement available, or at least it is hidden so well that I can't find it.

Netatmo as a company is **too stupid** to get my business anymore. Hopefully Amazon Basics or Alexa will copy their idea and sell something that I can buy again.

I love the whole Netatmo system. I have the starter kit along with two additional modules (they are all the same so this review applies to the additional indoor module as well as the set overall).

I bought an old fire station that is being drastically renovated and so these modules are fantastic because I've placed them in key areas (crawl space, the garage,... etc) to make sure that no area gets below freezing during this cold winter. I love the alerts because I set several sensor alerts so I can find out if any specific area gets too humid or too cold... etc).

The modules have also been great for monitoring which areas of the house are more drafty than others.

Some reviewers have been skeptical about the accuracy of the CO2 concentrations or humidity but after putting all three modules adjacent to one another for several days (for a personal comparison) I found that they were all spot on to one another which was quite reassuring.

I only wish that the outdoor module (not the specific item in this review) was actually water proof (it's water resistant and cannot be placed directly exposed to open sky (it's under an awning).

Highly Recommended!

Le problème majeur de la domotique actuel est la complexité des systèmes existants.
Dans le cas présent, une fois le produit configuré, il fait ce qu'on attends de lui et le fait bien.

Par contre, comme j'ai pu le voir dans certains commentaires, je confirme que parfois le module perd la synchronisation une fois la pile plate et il faut répartir dans l'ajout d'un nouveau module dans l'interface pas super clair de Netatmo (android) .
Idem pour l'intégration avec alexa, une fois qu'on a pris le réflexe ça fonctionne bien mais on est loin dune requête faite en langage "courant" avec cette obligation de dire "demande à netatmo" à chaque début de celles-ci.

Bref, une possibilité d'avoir ses module intrrieur sur secteur aussi, une révision de stabilité du système une fois configuré et une meilleure intégration avec les systèmes domotique existants lui valent un 3 étoiles selon moi.

Jak zwykle podłączenie zajęło krótka chwile. Urządzenie działa zgodnie ze specyfikacja. Jak za te cenę spodziewałbym się po tylu latach produkcji uzupełnienie o czujnik ppm. Poza tym dlaczego NetAtmo do każdego systemu wymaga oddzielnej aplikacji? Dlaczego ten czujnik nie może współpracować z zaworami Netatmo na kaloryferach żeby pomoc w ustawieniu temperatury rzeczywistej w pomieszczeniu?
