    Habe das Teil vor einem Jahr zu Weihnachten mir selbst gekauft. Auf das Modell bin ich bei meinem Rover-Händler gestoßen, da ich selbst einen fahre. Ich habe noch nie ein Lego-Technik-Fahrzeug gebaut und bin auch technisch nicht sehr versiert. Ich habe jetzt fast 1 Jahr lang dran gebaut, allerdings muss ich sagen, dass ich aufgrund meiner knappen Freizeit nicht jeden Tag dran war, ich schätze meinen Zeitaufwand bei 30-35 Stunden. Lag auch sicher daran, dass das mein ersten Modell war und ich auch viel Zeit mit der Suche nach (kleinen) Teilen verbracht habe. Die Angabe eines Mit-Rezensenten, das er in 5 Stunden das Teil fertig hatte, ist sicher "sportlich". Man muss auf jeden Fall sehr sorgfältig vorgehen, wenn man ein Teil falsch oder an der falschen Stelle eingebaut hat und merkt es erst viel später, ist der Aufwand ziemlich groß. Aber großes Lob an Lego, die Aufbauanleitung (dicker Schmöker mit weit über 400 Seiten) ist sehr detailliert und die Schritte sind plausibel nachvollziehbar, auch für den Laien, wenngleich der Bau der vorderen und hinteren (detailgetreuen) Getriebeteile sehr umfangreich ist, lohnt sich aber auf jeden Fall. Man muss allerdings oft ganz genau hinschauen, welche Farbe das Einbauteil hat, bei manchen kann man nicht genau sehen, ob es jetzt schwarz oder grau ist. Das erschwert etwas die Suche. Noch ein Tipp: falls man das Modell beleuchten will (sieht toll aus / Briksmax), sollte man es gleich beim Aufbau mitmachen (so habe ich es gemacht), das erspart auf jeden Fall das mühselige Auseinanderbauen, wenn das Modell schon fertig ist. Das gleiche gilt für eine Motorisierung (habe ich nicht gemacht, würde es aber auf jeden Fall beim nächsten Modell mitmachen). Fazit: das Modell zu bauen ist doch ein stolzer Zeitaufwand, macht aber Spass, wenngleich die Suche nach kleinen Teilen manchmal sehr zeitraubend ist. Fertig aufgebaut sieht es toll aus, die Funktionen (Getriebe, Schaltung, Lenkung, Motor usw.) sind sehr aufwändig und in der Funktion dem Original nachempfunden, mach auch riesen Spass, das Teil zu bewegen und die Funktionen zu sehen (gibt es auch jede Menge youtube-Vidos dazu). Spielen werde ich nicht sehr viel, höchstens meine Enkel mal, ansonsten hat es seinen Patz in meinem Büro, bin stolz darauf, es gebaut zu haben, kann ich jedem Fan (egal von Rover oder von Lego) jederzeit uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Kompliment an die Ingenieure, die es entwickelt haben.

    Nos ha llevado mucho tiempo acabar de montar este Land Rover Defender, y es que tiene un total de 2573 piezas, por lo que estimo que debe dar para fácilmente 12 horas o más de montaje. Yo lo he montado ayudando a mi hijo de 10 años, que es muy fan de todos los Lego y que se le dan muy bien, aunque este se le ha hecho un poco cuesta arriba, no tanto por la dificultad sino porque se le ha acabado por hacer un poco largo de más, además con el inconveniente de que cualquier fallo en el ensamblaje de la mitad inicial, que es cuando se montan todos los engranajes y mecanismos de funcionamiento, puede no detectarse hasta que ya está casi acabado, con lo que es difícil de solucionar (nos pasó con uno de los mecanismos que hacen moverse los pistones, y sólo nos dimos cuenta al final, con lo que arreglarlo fue realmente complicado). Por eso creo que este set lo recomendaría a partir de los 13 años o incluso más, no por la dificultad sino más bien porque para niños más pequeños se les puede hacer demasiado largo y tedioso.

    Tiene muchos detalles en general, si bien en la parte del interior puede estar más descuidado. Lo que más nos ha gustado es el control de la dirección tanto con el volante (que no es muy accesible) como con la ruedecilla situada sobre el techo del vehículo, el cabestrante es muy chulo para jugar, también sin ser espectacular funciona relativamente bien la suspensión, la apertura del portón trasero girando la rueda de repuesto y por último el movimiento de los cilindros cuando giran las ruedas y está engranada la marcha adelante o atrás. Cuenta también con una caja de cambios de 4 velocidades y una palanca para accionar las relaciones de transmisión.

    Una vez montado queda muy chulo y se puede jugar con el sin que desmonte. Tiene unas dimensiones considerables, mide unos 43 de largo por 21 de ancho con una altura máxima que ronda los 24 cm.

    En la parte menos positiva y que por desgracia es cada vez más frecuente, lejos quedan aquellos tiempos en que te sobraban un montón de piezas al finalizar el montaje, es que nos faltaron 2 conectores simples y que tuvimos que sustituir con piezas que teníamos de otros modelos, y no es que los perdiésemos (ordenamos y guardamos bien todas las piezas) es que no venían en la caja. En los últimos años no sólo las cajas vienen más bien con las piezas justas, sino que en varias ocasiones nos hemos encontrado con que nos falta alguna, y es algo que Lego debería vigilar más, máxime en sets tan caros donde no pierden nada porque sobren algunas piezas en lugar de que a veces falte alguna como sucede ahora.

    En definitiva, es un Technic muy chulo, con muchos mecanismos y con muchas horas de montaje. Muy recomendable si puedes conseguirlo a buen precio en alguna de las ofertas de Amazon.
