After much searching, I found these, 100% Egyptian cotton sheets from Mayfair Linens. I am thrilled so far. The medium blue is a beautiful cross between denim and navy. They are soft while still being crisp. To me, that is the hallmark of Egyptian cotton. With percision stitching (no gaps or snags) around all sides of the flat sheet and a generous fitted sheet, you can see right away how well made they are. I bought the king size and they fit my bed perfectly with a little room to spare if they do shrink. I've already washed and dried these and while they did slightly wrinkle, they were easy to smooth out. Not a deal breaker for me. I find the sheets are the perfect weight, neither to thin or thick. I am super fussy about sheets and am so happy to have found these. Price is definitely reasonable for the excellent quality. If I had one wish, I would wish that sheet makers allow buyers to choose between king and standard pillow cases. I make the king cases work with my standard pillows by tucking the ends in, like an envelope. It works for me. I'm a customer for life. Thank you Mayfair!

We have purchased many different sheets over the years, none have been as nice as these. What a difference! My wife tells me these are easy to wash and dry and come out looking great. I can say they are extremely soft and comfortable. Not scratchy at all. The keep us comfortable all night long.

We have had them for about a couple of months now and they are holding up well. Well worth a full 5 stars!

These sheets are thick and initially feel like decent quality although I have my doubts on them being 100% cotton. They aren't particularly soft and feel similar to polyester/cotton mix sheets. They also have a shine to them that seems abnormal for cotton. Ultimately they feel thick and heavy duty but are not very soft and with questionable fiber content so I returned them.

Shipped in thin item box that was torn up and filthy. However, the sheets, in Christmas red, were undamaged and washed up beautifully. I washed in warm water per the instructions and they came out with the same beautiful color, which speaks to the quality. The sheets, though 800 count, are thinner than expected but fairly soft and I can tell they will soften more with continued use. As cotton, they do wrinkle. For my own bed I'll won't iron the top seams, but if I was using these for guest beds, I would iron or take them to the cleaners for ironing at least the top sheet. They generously fit a deep mattress with enough to tuck in the foot. The sides hang exactly to the bottom edge of our 14.5 inch mattress. I will probably buy these again, especially for the beautiful colors and quality.
