Great fire pit, size and value
Wanted a slightly larger fire pit than I had and with protective screen on sides. This fit the bill nicely. When I originally tried to order they were sold out, but 2 days later back in stock. Placed the order and with all of the covid related shipping delays actually received early.Not difficult to assemble, just a bit tricky with one person, especially with the feet. Grab a second set of hands for feet and ring and you’ll be fine.Fire pit is very light and easy to transport.Plenty of space inside pit for larger fire.Nice sized screen for top.Nice weather cover and tool for lifting screen or moving logs.Not 5 stars due to 2 slight improvement opportunities (but neither is really a problem):1. Either further raise the ridges at bottom of pit or include/offer a raised grate for the wood. I’ve noticed air flow to bottom can be challenged if wood not stacked in a raised fashion. Higher ridges or a grate may help.2. Ring on top of screen folds to the side I suppose for when cover is on. However, this can be tricky when trying to use the hand tool (stoker) by grabbing the ring, as it doesn’t stay up like another model I have. A slight improvement to the ring attachment could help with this.Built new fire pit area and first fire with this new pit was well received by the family.
