Great size. Each compartment is large enough to hold quite a few cooking utensils. It fits perfectly on a narrow counter next to my stove. Negatives - it would be better if it had a solid bottom. It's OK if you never need to pick it up but otherwise my wood spoons fall through the bottom. It's ok if you don't pick it up. Another problem is that I had to file down some sharp edges and clamp down one small but sharp piece of wire. Both of these negatives were easily fixed so not a problem. Because of these issues it only gets a four Star rating. Must say that it looks great and holds a lot of utensils.
