This Amityke XBAT200 ION Power Pack Battery Replacement battery is identical to my OEM Shark battery and works as well as my original did when it was new. After two years of heavy use, it was time for a backup and i couldn't be happier with the fit, finish, and performance . The battery arrived with an 80% charge, and I fully charged it before use. After running it at regular power for 10 minutes or so, I still had two blue bars. I shopped for a replacement several months ago and was astonished to find the cost of an OEM ION battery increased to $99 - $149 on Amazon, and Shark's website so held off in the hopes of a sale. I just recently found one for $79. This high-quality replacement costs only $55 at the time of this review. If you’re going to buy a replacement for your Shark cordless buy a SHARK ion battery. One that actually says Shark on the back. You can buy a regular ion battery but it will lose it’s charge quickly and will be totally useless within a year. Some people say that if you use a Shark charger you will be okay but that’s crap. My first Shark battery did eventually wear out after 5-6 years but it kept a full charge that entire time. I was happy to buy a new one after all those years. I love my vacuum and it is still going strong.
