I use the sponges for wiping down the kitchen counters (soft side) and scrubbing the kitchen sink (stiff side). They last well. I use them in the bathroom too; the bathtub has been refinished, so I have to use the soft side to clean it, but the stiff side works well on the sink.

Very happy with these sponges. They wash really well with no residual smell. They feel clean and new again once they’ve been washed. I love being able to wash the sponge as soon as it gets grungy with no guilt (I used to throw the disposables away and felt bad about the waste).

The blue sponges do hold up better than the gray. But both are holding up great after many washes over 6 months. There is a little staining and some pulls after 6 months but these sponges work hard. They won’t last forever but I’m already happy with how much use I’ve gotten out of them.

Pros:
more "Eco-friendly" than disposable sponges (I tried washing them in the dishwasher, but they didn't dry. They stand up very well to the washing machine & dryer, though)

Cons:
Size (slightly larger than the disposable sponges we were using previously - not noticeable after awhile)
Suds (seems to take a bit more soap to create the amount of suds we were accustomed to with disposable sponges. As I write this, I wonder if more soap just becomes "trapped" inside of the sponge rather than staying on the surface - this is not a deal breaker)

Overall, I hope this actually makes a difference in the health of our dying planet, though I can't help but think this is all a futile quest to chase a dream that shall always dangle just out of mortal man's reach.

I have just started to use these sponges that I purchased 2017. I am impressed at the size and durability. Even more impressive is how quickly these sponges clean pots and pans. Literally takes half as much time and doesn't need as much soap. Maybe it was a premonition in 2017 when I started stocking up cleaning supplies. It was a feeling that came over me. At the time, the sponges I regularly use were temporarily unavailable so I bought the MR.SIGA Dual Action instead. I'm glad I did. It's a much better sponge.

Don't hold up in the washing machine at all!

I wanted to love these, as I was hoping to move away from throw-away sponges and find some good machine washable ones. Sadly, these did not hold up at all in the washing machine. The blue one was slightly better, but the grey was pretty much shredded after 1-2 washes (see photo). I will have to toss these now that they're ruined. That being said, if you are not planning on washing these in the washing machine, they are really great sponges that probably would not get moldy and smelly as fast as regular sponges because they are easy to wring out and dry quickly.

I've been using these daily for a few years for just about everything in my home from washing dishes to cleaning windows, automobiles, grills and more. These are the only sponges I will purchase and for the price, they are a terrific bargain. I've never had one tear or fall apart on me. The only time I replace them is after several months of use but based on other reviews, I'm going to try washing them in the machine to see if I can revive them. I hope these sponges don't disappear because I've tried so many and I've never had a sponge work so well and last so long.

Reinigen super und lassen sich ohne Probleme waschen. Wir nehmen gelb/türkis für den Abwasch und gelb/grau zum Putzen und beides funktioniert einwandfrei. Da wir alles mit der Hand abspülen, kommt bei uns schon ein Haufen Müll zusammen mit "normalen" Schwämmen. Diese Schwämme hier benutzen wir nun schon seit Wochen, sie werden wöchentlich gewaschen und verlieren dabei auch nicht ihre "kratzige" Seite. Solange man da auch nicht direkt die scharfe Seite von Messern durchzieht,,nutzen sie sich weder ab noch gehen sie kaputt. Würde sie bei Bedarf definitiv neu bestellen, bisher war das allerdings nicht nötig.
